Interesting concept and presentation. The pizza had a unique form, which was fun to try, but it just wasn’t my type. It was way too spicy for my taste, and because of that, the flavors didn’t really come through until the end. Overall, the restaurant itself was fine, and the staff were okay.

The definitive place where to eat a proper fried pizza: Battilocchi are half a standard pizza, so you can taste 2 with different fillings! Thicker dough, elegantly placed on your place, free from oil. Very polite and attentive service too. A minor downside is the waiting time for the food, yet guaranteeing the high standards of the brand.

Best place to eat a pizza fritta in Naples. Masardona is known for making just pizza fritta and it deserved this well know reputation. The location is tiny with some tables available inside and other sits are outside but unfortunately these are not covered and would be not the best in winter time. Ludovico and Sara were great servers giving us a great costumer services recommending some choice we would never get. One of this was the Montanara con polpo all’insalata as a starter, simply great. Tasty were also our Badocchios and Frittura all’italian as well. Another thing i want to underline was also the tidiness of the place and the fact they were using a fresh oil and you can see the pizzaiolo in action. Good choice of wine and prices reasonable considering the location.

I came here to get away from the blistering heat. This restaurant is recommended online and I loved to try it whilst cooling down. I was welcomed with open arm even though I was alone (and sweaty). The terras had a lovely breeze coming from the sea close-by and the drinks were cold. This place is a famous for their fried pizzas so I had to try one of those. I had a half what was plenty for me. It was too hot to eat otherwise I would have had 10. The fried pizza is definite yes for me as it’s like a massive empanadas with a soft shell instead of crunch. The filling was plentiful and the hot, hot, hot. After I tried my best to finish as much as humanly possible the waiter asked if all was ok. He noticed I didn’t eat so it was really great for him to ask me. “Yes it’s yummie, it’s just to hot to eat” seems like a super holiday thing to say and I like it. I ordered some sparkling water after this and was met with a liter bottle for peanuts. I was not rushed ever and made feel really relaxed. Very often I get the feeling I’m rushed when I’m alone taking up a table but here there was no pressure. The food was brilliant, the shade fantastic and the staff are just the best.

Mediterranean heaven for all things fried! and that of course include those decadent and uniquely Neapolitan hot pockets of crispy outside and hot ooey and gooey deliciousness inside Pizza Frita! Goes to proof that this little gourmet town is not only the land of pizza and seafood but also of deep frying! Even more the salad was also one of the freshest and nicest we've had in the area. Also, It is a quite popular a busy place, so service can be off sometimes; so better to get there early otherwise be prepared to stand in a long line.
