The pizza here is generally good — the dough is excellent, though the tomato sauce was a bit plain compared to others we’ve tried. Overall, it was fine! The staff were kind, but we were quite disappointed with how they handled our situation. We arrived with a baby sleeping in a stroller and asked to sit outside, where several tables were available. They refused, even though we hadn’t reserved — and even while we were already eating inside, the outdoor tables remained empty. It was a hot day, and a little more understanding and empathy for parents with a small child would have been appreciated. Unfortunately, sitting inside was very uncomfortable. The dining area was quite hot, and combined with the warm weather, it became almost unbearable. On top of that, the space isn’t sound-insulated from the open kitchen, so when a large group of about 12 people arrived, the noise level became overwhelming. Our baby woke up stressed, and we as parents also felt very uncomfortable. We ended up rushing through our meal and leaving early. If you do decide to visit, I would strongly recommend reserving an outdoor table to avoid the heat and noise inside. Also, the pricing seemed rather high — paying that much for a simple Margherita pizza felt more like tourist pricing, which is surprising for such a small local town.

Great Naples-style pizza, baked at 400+ degrees to give that soft, spongy rich border and the strong tomato taste. Take-away, indoor or outdoor on a nice square.

Dine in or take out in pretty Sommacampagna. Very good pizzeria offering a range of classic and special pizzass of generous size. Single bright, clean dining room decorated with attractive surrealist paintings. Everything here is better than usual. Thought and care aplenty from the owner.

I tried this pizzeria last Saturday evening with my son. We love pizza, expecially Neapolitan type. I ate friarielli, salsiccia and scamorza one, and I found it great. The staff was so kind and friendly. Prices are not expensive and this is a cozy place. I'll return, but next time I'll book....

We visited Pizza Punto e a Capo in Sommacampagna and had a really good experience. We ordered four pizzas: two Margheritas, one Salami Piccante, and one Parmigiana. All of them were very tasty, with good-sized portions. One of our kids …
