Our tour guide, Richard took us to Donna Carmela’s for fabulous Margherita and fried pizza. We traveled for three weeks from Venice, Como, LaSpezia, Cinque Terre, Parma, Milan, Rome, Roccamonfina, Sorrento and the Amalfi coast and no pizza anywhere was as amazingly delicious as yours. Well worth stopping in San Giovanni for a delicious lunch. A local eatery in an out of the way place. This was just like my Italian father used to make. It was flooded with great memories eating here. Well done. Cosi Delizioso!

One of the best places for the authentic street food. Think of all greasy goodness you crave every now and then. Everything is truly napoletano e truly delicious. We came back a few times. And planning to in the future as well. Food is always hot and good size. We ordered a takeaway but there is an option to sit outside. Delicious!!!

I ordered a simple margarita pizza for take-away and paid 3.50 euros. I had to wait 1.5 HOURS for the pizza to be prepared. They did tell me that I would have to wait a while. But they never said 1.5 HOURS. They cooked meals for all the guests in the dining room before cooking the take-away orders. So dozens of people who got seated in the restaurant AFTER I had ordered my take-away pizza received their pizzas long before I did! While I had to just stand outside and wait and wait and wait and wait. And then when I finally got my pizza, part of it was burnt! Overall horrible experience.
