I drove by one day while on Elston and did a double take "what is that place?" Turns out to be this pizza + cocktail spot called Sharpies. Came here for date night as we are a fan of Detroit style pan pizza. We were NOT dissappinted. Started out with some NA drinks (Atomic Pop & Quantum Glitch) which were great NA options for all the NA curious folk out there. They also have a nice beer and cocktail menu to look at which I am sure is 🔥. We decided to order the Space Debris Salad as an app and it was delicious. Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Onions, Feta Cheese, Crispy Potatoes, and Italian dressing.. what could go wrong? Perfect salad alternative to get your palate ready. As for the pizza we had to go with the Sausage Singularly (big sausage fans here) and they had those dollops of ricotta on there 🤌🤌. Great pizza, sweet sauce, sausage a little spicy, and the crust crunchy and crusty from the Pan. Corner pieces hit different. Overall a great experience and would like to come back to try again!

3 stars overall but I highly recommend coming for just the Detroit style pizza if you love pizza. We shared: 1. Ham Radio pizza - pepperoni, bacon, sausage, hot & sweet peppers, red onion, vodka sauce 2. Burning Star - spicy sweet blooming onion blossom, nashville ranch 3. Jupiter's Sweet Spot - banana pudding, brown butter crumble Detroit style pizza is the main food reason why you come here and it's excellent. The exterior crust is perfectly crispy and interior perfectly fluffy. They were generous with the toppings which worked well together. Onion blossom was crispy but needed seasoning and I'd prefer a lighter batter. Banana pudding was good but lacked banana slices which are not expensive, c'mon. Service was slow at times. Dark ambience was more suited for bar than dining experience.

Fun spot! Love the vibe inside. Walked in on a Friday around 645pm and sat at the bar. Suggest making a reservation as we got the last two seats at the bar. Pizza was really great! It was doughier than I would’ve like but otherwise really solid Detroit style pizza. Taste and crispiness on par from anything I’ve had in Detroit. Would definitely come back! Get the pepperoni and sausage and ricotta

The best Detroit style is not in the beautiful state of Michigan. It's in the Windy City so you haven't been make weekend reservations now because I took two friends that don't care for this particular style and they fell in love with it!! Also there version of the Bloomin onion puts outback steakhouse to shame!!

I’ve tried a lot of Detroit style pizza in my day and this is easily some of the best around. The crust has an incredible crunch but is light and airy at the same time. The cheese, especially around the edges, is phenomenal. Toppings are wonderful too. I loved the Italian Beef Pizza so much. Appetizers, cocktails, and dessert all were great. Service was fun and friendly. Excellent all around.
