Whoa. I’ve been coming here for a few years now but it just keeps getting better. I dined in tonight and while I was eating my vegan “my kind of town” Detroit style pizza, all I could think of is how I MUST leave a stellar review. The flavor is out of control good. I thought maybe they got rid of some vegan options, but our server Ben mentioned they have an ENTIRE vegan menu which made me so unbelievably happy. Truly some of the best pizza in Chicago and Ben was such an awesome, attentive server. My partner and I couldn’t get over how sweet and lovely he was. Highly recommend!! Thank you :)

Took advantage of happy hour apps. I had a local ipa draft. Super tasty. Detroit style pizza was awesome but I preferred the incredible wood brick oven style.. service was right on a atmosphere was chill and fun.

Ordered the E=MC², elote pizza which was the specialty pizza of the quarter. Amazing. So cheesy, so crunchy, so delicious. Our second pizza was US Pizza Cup Winner. Best Detroit pizza we've ever had. The first bite was sweet and basily. The second bite was crunchy pepperoni and bacon jam. Just stop. Bevs: Majeet-O mocktail and The Southern Comfort, which my husband was STRONG. Also get yourself a giant slice of cake (also rotating,we got Nutter Butter, as well as pie!) Check this place out, quarterly special pizzas, yummy bevs and delicious desserts.

Terrible experience from start to finish. I placed a takeout order and waited over 45 minutes for just two pizzas. When I finally received my order, one of the pizzas was completely cold. To make things worse, a 20% tip was automatically added without any notice or choice. I understand tipping and usually do it, but it should always be the customer’s decision, especially for a takeout order. Even so, I was handed a receipt asking if I wanted to add more tip, as if I hadn’t already been charged. The service was terrible, and unfortunately the food matched the customer service, bad as well. I will never come back. Very disappointing experience.

Easily one of the top 5 pizzas in my life, specifically the Detroit style Pizza Cup Winner with bacon jam. I would go to Chicago just to get this pizza.

Paulie Gee’s website and trip advisor both listed the restaurant as open on Mondays but when I arrived, I found out it wasn’t true. Big disappointment after driving there for dinner. Won’t return.

We had been looking forward to Paulie Gee's because of the hype, and we were very, very disappointed. We know pizza, and this isn't it. This is not Neapolitan pizza as we have had it elsewhere or in Italy; rather, it's like a fluffy, airy pita bread with a few scattered toppings. Frankly, it didn't even taste or feel cooked, and the toppings were skimpy. Despite our being able to see people preparing dough, there was something about the pizza that tasted pre-fab, and there was no "crust" in terms of anything at all crispy, even at the edges. While the salad was large, it was mostly shredded lettuce with one or two grape tomatoes and a sliver of carrot--for $10! Two pizzas, two glasses of wine, and two salads--over $90 with tip. We are very puzzled by the positive reviews. Our server was very good and helpful, and the person who greeted us was very nice. As a native New Yorker--who likes all styles of pizza, New York, Chicago, or otherwise--I am puzzled as to why this pizza would also be popular in Brooklyn, of all places!

My friends raved about this place beforehand and maybe I was expecting a true pizza tasting. We tried 5 different types of “pizza” supposedly deep dish. More like deep crusty bread with a thin layer of toppings. That is what they call pizza. One exception was a thin crust one. Più simile al pane croccante con uno strato sottile di condimenti. Questo è ciò che chiamano pizza si Pauli Gee. Non aspettarti una vera pizza.
