  I’ve heard great things about Menomale and it did live up to the hype. My wife and I went in to order take out. They have a very detailed menu with plenty of options so it took a while to determine what we wanted. It would have been nice to have some images associated with the menu but nevertheless when I saw the brick oven I knew what I was in for. My wife just wanted a pepperoni pizza so the host explained that it is possible, just a small deviation from one of the items on the menu. The food took about 10 minutes to prepare. I can’t lie, my wife said this was one of the best pizzas she’s ever had (prior to our visit her favorite pizza was Andy’s). The verde calzone was fantastic as well. You can taste and tell the authenticity of their food in each bite. We visited south of Italy a few year ago, Palermo, and might I say the quality of food at Menomale matched our pizza experience in Italy. I will be back to this spot.

  I have been to both locations of Menomale, and this location and spot was really special. I went to this location on my son's birthday, and we really enjoyed every moment! My son had the Verdone Pizza, and I had the Quattro Formaggi Pizza, which were both delicious. The staff brought a surprise dessert to end off the night; it was very nice spending time at Menomale.

  Menomale DC is hands down one of the best restaurants in the city. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a cozy neighborhood vibe that makes you feel right at home. The staff is friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do — they go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience. The food is absolutely incredible. The wood-fired pizzas are perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, with fresh, high-quality ingredients that make every bite burst with flavor. The pasta dishes are just as impressive — rich, authentic, and clearly made with care. And don’t skip dessert — the tiramisu is heavenly! Whether you’re here for a casual dinner, date night, or just craving authentic Italian comfort food, Menomale DC never disappoints. I can’t recommend it enough — a true gem in the heart of the city!

  This is one of the best Napoletana Pizza Restaurant. It is as if you are dinning in Italy where the mouth watering pizza is prepared. The atmosphere is family ornted. It is good place to take your young ones for a healthy pizza fun time. It is also good place to celebrate Birthdays and Engagements. Our Community is enhanced by their hardworking entrepreneurship. Mariya and her beloved husband Rusciano love our Community. The flavor is delicious, friendly staffs unforgettable experience and a great evening. You will not regret visiting Menomal Pizza.

  I’ve ordered pizza here a number of times and the experience swings drastically. I always get the Diavola. Twice the pizza has been great! Another time the pizza crust was burned but the dough somehow still raw - I asked them to put it back in the oven and got an attitude. Additionally, wait times can be quite long. Last time I visited, I waited close to 45 minutes for dine in service. Overall decent but think they need more consistency.

  I started at the 12th Street, NE location years ago to take a client for lunch. This place brought me seriously good luck, since it led me to selling multiple properties for my client. The food has never waivered. Always authentically Italian, with the fresh ingredients and an imported Italian oven. Now I am following them to NOMA on N Street, NW to find the continued success of remarkable variety that always yearning for more. It is like a fine wine; it just gets better with time.

  We drove to DC to visit some of our relatives and actually stumbled on this restaurant, Menomale, which we originally thought was Middle Eastern. What a surprise to find that it was an Italian pizza restaurant, and a very good one. We didn't have the pizza which I would think, was probably wonderful. Several different pastas and a number of sauces and salads were thoroughly enjoyed by the five of us, The service was first class and the price moderate for DC. We will go back again in the near future,

  Best experience and great food. We are from California and go here to support a great establishment . We will always eat at this place every time we come here which isn’t very often, but we will make it a point to be here and support this great restaurant. The workers are absolutely wonderful and the food is great and the ambience is wonderful.

  Feel in love with this place when my brother-in-law took me there in Oct. I will go there every time I’m in DC. Pizza is amazing. Actually everything was delicious.
