Pizza Lovers say: "great Neapolitan pizza with wood-fired crust and arancini appetizer, but service can be slow and some dishes lack complexity."

My first time at their new location & my husbands first time at this restaurant. Food was okay but it wasnt the most appealing in terms of how it looks. My husband made a comment about how it looked like it was just thrown together. Not too …

Everything about this place is amazing and a must try. We got calamari, the scallop special, seafood and tomato pasta. The service is just superb. The way they present specials and also give olive oil and freshly cooked bread at the table is just chef kiss! Thank you for such a good service😊

The pizza was solid—definitely a good Neapolitan-style, but a bit smaller than I expected for the price. The flavours were nice, though I was hoping for a bit more complexity or punch to really stand out. As for the drinks, the regular sodas like Coke are served on draft and come with a lot of ice, so it ended up tasting like slightly fizzy flavored water. Service-wise, the staff was very friendly, but the seating experience was frustrating. We were a party of five and waited about an hour to be seated. The host wouldn’t seat us at any of the available four-tops, even though it seemed like a simple fix to add a chair or combine a small table. We were originally told it would be a 30-minute wait, but when it doubled, we had to push for a solution. And they kept seating later coming smaller groups, instead of combining 2 tables. Eventually, they sat us at a high-top that had been empty the whole time. Parking is available in a lot behind the restaurant, but it was full when we arrived. I had to park on the street nearby, which wasn’t too bad, and free when I was there. There are also parking lots in the area if needed.

Definitely a great spot to get some true Italian pizza, embracing the Napoli way. A family atmosphere that boasts a family style dinner. The pizzas are cooked in their wood fired brick ovens. Fresh and simple ingredients give the food the best results. During peak times, there will be a wait but it's worth it. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Man, this place would be really good if they would put the slightest effort into the service. The pizzas I've tried have an appropriately soft, chewy crust and the arancini is the standout appetizer. Desserts are tasty as well, especially the bombolini and Tiramisu (although they don't give you enough Nutella with the bombolini). It's not exceptional but definitely good. But my God is the service atrocious. There's one extremely overwhelmed waiter for a large number of tables. Need more napkins? Go and grab some yourself because no one is coming to help you, even if you ask. Heck, the waiter actually saw us doing that and when I mentioned it she said "Yeah, I saw that". Everyone is so miserable they can't even pretend to care. Despite the solid food I won't be coming back. There are other places in LA that make Neapolitan style pizzas with better service to match.

A chance encounter recommended this place. They said it is authentic Italian pizza and I said that I had heard that about a lot of places that didnt wind up being true (I have lived in France, my wife is german and I have traveled Europe …

This is now the best pizza in Pasadena, but tbh, we had much better options a year ago -- U Street, Side Pie, and the Luggage Room all being gone have significantly narrowed options for really good pizza. My only complaint is that they have an annoying tendency to undercook the pizza (I think because a lot of brick oven places get fussy customers who think it looks "burnt" if it's actually cooked properly), so I always tell them to make sure they leave it in an extra minute or two.

After several visits I can honestly say this is the best pizza in Pasadena. Plus the salads are interesting and varied. The atmosphere is perfect for families and it is possible to get a large table even on a Saturday. Parking is a bit of an issue but you have to be persistent and it is better after 7 when the parking restrictions expire on Lake.

Our first visit to this pizza restaurant won't be our last! Delicious, New York style thin/crispy crust pizza is the specialty here. Pies are individually sized and loaded with fresh ingredients (bolognese - $19, "diavolo" with spicy Italian prociutto - $19). Wine pours are generous ($10) and our enormous arugula-and-shaved-parmigiana salad ($9) was also large enough for two (maybe three!) to share. The atmosphere is "brick-wall-pizza-place," with a high ceiling, a glowing brick oven and a mix of tables, booths and high-tops. Our late-evening dinnertime was not too loud, but it felt like it could get noisy when the place is busier. Service was friendly and fast (our pizzas were piping hot from the oven when they arrived). This is a great place for friends and families to gather for excellent pizza. Parking is a little tricky; there are a few spaces in a well-hidden lot behind the restaurant, and a few street spaces. But this is a good place to walk to.

I wish Pasadena had more authentic restaurants with a cozy vibe and great food that wasn’t a chain! I only wish they delivered or Hugo

Ordered 4 pizzas for our family. We chose this restaurant because my wife had Celiac’s and has to eat Gluten Free (they do a good job on the GF). My pizza had a lot of toppings and should have been cooked more. It was not so the dough was raw. Toppings were good. Everyone else liked their pizza. They should have known better, or had a way to add a note to cook it more.
