Great takeaway traditional style pizza. We ordered the Bufalina, Pollo e Pesto (my favourite) and the Capricciosa with Anchovies. All very good, in hindsight I would not get anchovies with that pizza as it is already salty. Boys were quick and efficient, everything was ready by the time we got there. Buffalina had a bit too much sauce, and not quite enough basil, but otherwise tasty. The Capricciosa was everything we wanted it to be. I liked the no-sauce chicken pesto pizza as well, definitely everything was very good here. The pannacotta chocolate and vanilla were nice, definitely preferred the vanilla as you can taste the fresh dairy and real vanilla, whereas the chocolate tasted powdery. Overall, I would recommend Pizza Pomodoro for takeaway traditional style pizza. I will return to try their other creations and offerings, including their tirimisu and diverse pizza menu.

It’s with mixed emotions I write this review. Yes, you guys need to support Pizza Pomodoro….but Pizza Pomodoro need to lift their game a little….which I’m sure they will. Service……awesome. Atmosphere…..cool, boutique. Pizza…..I think we were there wrong time, wrong day. Pizza flavours of the inferno were good. Spicy tomato base, it needed more sausage as the cheese to meat/anchovy/olive ratios were off. It ended up being a pizza well cooked on the bottom but soggy and wet on top. Better prep and pizza oven temp control, this place could be 10/10 all day long! Come support these guys!

We like that it’s a small hole in the wall brick oven pizza place. Perfect for in and out. It is very nice, comfortable and welcoming. Fast & friendly service and pizza was superb. We got the Carne. Crust was thin, soft on the inside and a perfect slight chewiness on the outside. Also perfect amount of sauce & cheese. We totally enjoyed it very much. Highly recommend this place.

I ordered some pizzas for delivery outside business hours. The Pomodoro team was outstanding. Super responsive, accommodating, very friendly, and the delivery itself was impeccable. I asked that the pizzas be delivered at 1130 and not sooner as I was organizing a surprise for someone and then delivery literally arrived 1131 sharp, incredible! Pizzas were delicious 😋 a perfect experience, thank you Pomodoro!

Staff were wonderful and friendly. Pizza was delicious. Very small more popular for takeaway rather than eating in only two tiny tables with two seats a table. We went there for dinner straight after chocolate making it was right across the courtyard

Awesome is all I can say, I used to cook pizza in Oz, but these guys are way better, far more authentic! Love it, my favourite for sure

What a great little place! Unexpected gem of a find, highlight of our food experiences in Wellington. We're pizza snobs from a country with a long history of Italian immigration, so we know pizza - but Pomodoro really know pizza. A+!

The Best Pizza in NZ. Stumbled across this little joint, boy are glad we did. The pizzas were divine lovely, crispy base with ample fillings of the most mouthwatering ingredients.the service quick and friendly, do yourself a favour, and get some takeaway pizza it will not disapoint HIGHLY recommended

We came here on recommendation by TripAdvisor. It’s hidden/ tucked in a little corner, so be aware. We ordered their Margarita and it was delicious. Very authentic similar to the ones we had in Naples. Have been back a couple of times and highly recommend it. Flavours and crust were yummy down to the last bite!
