We visited the restaurant after hearing many great reviews. I recommend reserving a table in advance so you can enjoy a lovely street view. The restaurant itself is decorated very nicely and has a pleasant atmosphere. We started with the Greco salad and really enjoyed it. The vegetables were fresh and flavorful. For the main course, we ordered the Penne alla Tagliata and the Spaghetti all Ambiente, which is a highly recommended dish. Unfortunately, we did not enjoy the pastas at all. I barely ate mine and actually ended up going somewhere else afterward. On a positive note, our waiter was very nice and attentive. Overall, the hype did not live up to our expectations.

We went with high expectations and they really delighted us with the flavors. Five of us ordered pizza, pasta, salad, and appetizers. When we wanted to order wine, they said the sommelier would come. The sommelier arrived and suggested we try a Riesling that wasn't on the menu but was very good, so we got excited and agreed. When we asked the price, he said 1400 CZK and that we could change the wine if we wanted. We were on vacation and thought, what could happen?! Unfortunately, it was never worth 1400 CZK, and on top of that, he recommended the most expensive item on the menu, which made us think differently. The next day, we were returning to Istanbul, so we decided to stop by the supermarket. Imagine our surprise when we saw that the wine we had drunk was only 119 CZK 😮‍💨 Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone... Or if you do go, choose your own wine and don't trust the sommeliers who claim they'll give you an experience! I should also add that despite having a reservation, we were seated at the very back of the restaurant. If you make a reservation, don't forget to ask where your table will be.

Pizza Nuova is a fantastic spot in Prague for anyone who loves authentic Italian food. The restaurant has a warm, welcoming atmosphere and offers a great variety of freshly made pizzas and pasta. Would recommend booking as it gets booked up fast! We visited the night before but they were already booked up for the night so we pre booked for the following evening. The service was friendly and efficient, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. It was a little loud and busy, but that added to the lively atmosphere rather than taking away from the experience. The pizzas were perfectly cooked with thin, crispy bases and rich, flavourful toppings - easily some of the best we’ve had!

When you enter next to the small kitchen, from which you can buy a fresh bread, you won't be expecting how big and different this place is upstairs. Huge, open restaurant, in modern style, which can be quiet comfy with views of the nearby square. Service was without problems. When it comes to the drinks the lemonade was good, beer quite standard. As for the pizza the margherita was better than Diavola which might be due to it being, a bit too burned for my liking. Otherwise ingredients are top notch and we enjoyed our food, though I expected a bit more from the one of top Neapolitan pizzerias. This is also probably the first place that I saw had a Neapolitan degustation menu, where you get few slices of different pizzas and a bit of various served here pastas coming at various times. Something like pizza hut pizza festival but much better.

The staff was very nice. However for the price, which is quite steep for Czechia, I'd expect more. The food is very mid, the ingredients look very fresh, however it's much underseasoned. I had a tartare and it was not seasoned at all. At first bite I enjoyed it as I could taste the meat, but then it was just underwhelming. Same goes for cocktails. The lasagna was very good though. Also I understand the design direction of the interiour, however if I am paying higher restaurant prices, I would expect it to be nicer. I was sat on a bench. Overall, overpriced for mid food and atmosphere.

I was very excited to try pizza nuova, as it’s part of ambiente group and I had good experiences in other restaurants. Unfortunately, this was a big disappointment. …

During my stay in the Czech Republic, I visited Pizza Nuova twice for dinner, and both experiences were excellent. On each visit, I ordered different dishes, and everything was consistently delicious. The pizza was fantastic, the pasta was flavorful, the gnocchi was perfectly prepared, and even the appetizers were outstanding. What made the experience even better was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The restaurant itself is lovely, with both indoor and outdoor seating options that are equally enjoyable.
