Pizza Lovers say: "Delicious, genuine Italian pizza with modern takes on classics. Service can be terrible, and traditional pizzas are hidden."

Definitely our favorite pizza place in Udine, and in my opinion one of the best pizzas you can get in Italy. Even if there might be better places, I guarantee you won't be disappointed by their pizza, not like in many other restaurants in this country. The menu is mainly modern takes on classic pizza recipes but fortunately not too modern. My favorite sign on the menu is a small yellow star, indicating what are the favorites around here. A quick peek into what Italians actually love when they order pizza. We tried two of those favorite ones. Cinquantasette (cooked tomatoes, mozzarella, spicy salami, anchovies, Pecorino Romano) and Crêuza De Ma (tomato, mozzarella, ricotta, sun dried tomatoes, pesto). And I can tell you that both of them were fantastic and we loved them both. Verticale di Margherita was our third choice. A modern take on the classic margherita pizza, with 4 different types of tomatoes. It was actually really good, other than our first small disappointment that it did not have the classic red tomato sauce that you expect from a margherita.

our server was very nice and fast, pizza variety and toppings were very good but bread was average at best, hard and bland. We could have overlooked the average pizza because of the cozy atmosphere but unfortunately another older female member of staff coughed/sneezed into her hands and then proceeded to carry on serving coffees without washing her hands.

The pizza is delicious—that's true, but the service is incredibly terrible. Because of this, it seems that even the taste of the pizza is ruined.

The pizza was good but not the best we had in the surroundings. We didn't appreciate much the fact that the menu the waitress gave to us, described only the "Gourmet" Pizzas, which cost was higher, whereas we discovered at the end of the evening that there were also the more traditional and cheaper pizzas ( they where exposed on a blackboard in a hidded place of the Restaurant, so we couldn't Imagine they were available). We also waited for the pizzas for a very long time ( about 45 mins )
