We went to Ivo a Trastevere for dinner and it was exactly what you want from a Roman pizzeria. We ordered two pizzas — Salame Piccante and Mastro Titto — and both were full of flavor without feeling heavy at all. Proper thin crust, generous toppings, and super satisfying. Honestly couldn’t pick a favorite between the two. I kind of wish I had tried half the menu. It’s extremely affordable (around €8.5–9 per pizza), which makes it even better. The vibe is local meets touristy; packed, loud, but the good kind of loud. Groups of friends, families, everyone just enjoying good food and their night out. Service was good and supportive despite how busy it was. If you’re in Rome, make sure to visit Ivo for a proper pizza experience.

A real Italian experience. We found this place so randomly, as we always passed by and it was so crowded all the time and some times people were queuing. Today was the day when we tried it and we were so surprised that this restaurant has 4,1 star. We ordered artichoke and potatoes with basil, cheese and onion for starters. Portions were really good. These two were not my cup of tea based on my personal preference, but my partner loved them. Pizza… Simply delicious. We went with 5 cheeses and Trastevere. Was really great. We didn’t expect anything from Trastevere pizza, but it turned out to be one of the best pizzas I’ve tried in Italy. Bigger pizzas are 1,5€ more and we got surprised of the size from a normal sized ones, as it was already big. Finished everything with Tiramisu. It had a coffee flavor, but not as much, simply how I like it. The cream of tiramisu was the best cream I ever tasted in tiramisu and the portion was huge. They brought one for two of us and honestly it was enough. I cannot wait for tomorrow or later to try Bree salmon pizza.

The atmosphere was very disappointing. In winter, the indoor space felt stuffy and poorly ventilated — almost like a public bathhouse. We waited at least 40 minutes in line just to get a table, which would have been acceptable if the experience matched the hype, but it didn’t. The food was honestly not very good and did not live up to the advertising or expectations. We went based on the strong promotion and reviews, but it fell short. Even the wine service was careless — it was served in basic water glasses instead of proper wine glasses, which added to the overall feeling of low attention to detail. Unfortunately, not a place we would return to

1000% the best carbonara I’ve ever had, and dream of how incredible it was. Definitely a 12/10 spot, and the best meal we had in Rome! It was authentic and you know by the locals that dine here too. The flavors and depth of the pizza, the fact that you can taste the ingredients says it all, the creaminess of the sauce, it is incredible! So glad we stumbled upon it near where we were staying and didn’t have to wait but saw the line grow and grow. Highly recommend to come by for early dinner. We sat outside and loved the atmosphere.

We didn't make a reservation before going to the restaurant, it was quite busy and there was always a queue. The taste of the food and the price are quite okay. There were a lot of customers waiting because the reviews were quite good, the staff served the food to us continuously without dividing between appetizers and main courses. They just served the food to us as soon as it was ready. There was no waiting for us to finish eating in turns. I hope they improve on this.

Great pizza here! I ordered the Ivo pizza - so delicious and they didn’t skimp out on the marinara sauce! Perfect thin pizza. Just be aware that if you order any pizzas with mushrooms on it, it might come out a bit watery/soggy (not much …

We were recommended this restaurant by our taxi driver who picked us up from the airport and we're so glad we listened! What a fantastic place to go for authentic Italian food, amazing service and atmosphere and all the football shirts and pics on the walls! The place was heaving but that didnt mean the service suffered, the waiters deserve a medal (Simone was amazing!) In addition to the electric atmosphere it was great value for money and well worth the cab ride there. We walked back to the city centre later past the Circus Maximus. I cant recommend this place highly enough, definitely our best meal and experience of our trip (i only wish we could thank the taxi driver for his recommendation).
