La Dea Bendata explores old Neapolitan classics through a traditional know-how that aims to reinvent them. Thus, the street classics that still are the basis of the local working class are taken one step further with high quality ingredients and exogenic cooking techniques. In other words, this place carries a revalorization of the classics. The prices correspond to what you get, and are quite competitive in comparison to other parts of Naples. If you are nearby, and you're in the mood for local food with a twist, you should give it a try.

Located at the beautiful seafront of Pozzuoli, la Dea Bendata offers one of the most delicious Pizza of the "Campi Flegerei". In the main, you have to eat the appetizers and fries which are plentiful and original and then you have to choose from a menù with a several type of pizza cooked with seasonal vegetables and ingredients. The weitres and the owner are really nice and helpful in the choice, trying to let you known all of what you need to enjoy the food. I gave 4 stars just for the price which is too high considering the other Pizzerie in Pozzuoli.

Service is bad. Pizza was good but it could be better but still worth to go back to try other flavors, wine was definitely not the best, and they don't speak any English which makes the wait staff to keep avoiding the table. Overall a disappointing experience.
