  pizza delicate was great, so fresh and light, also lots of different local organic craft beers to choose from. menu was in Italian but the host did his best explaining it to us, so we didn't have any trouble at all.

  So far the best pizza I ever ate in Modena. The mix of rare and ancient flour makes the tastiest pizza dough I ever ate. The service was perfect, friendly and helpful - and I am not an easy customer;) I really recommend the wide choice of beers as well as the home made desserts. The atmosphere is very enjoyable - just one room, simple and cozy at the same time. Do not miss it :) it's not easy to find...

  Had an excellent experience eating at La Lanterna. The menu is available only in Italian, but our server was gracious enough to help us through ordering. If you don't speak Italian, I would recommend brushing up on a few simple food words. Pizza was 10/10 delicious and a great value for your money. One pizza should be enough to satisfy two people but it is so good you may want to order extra for left overs. It seemed to be recommended to call ahead but they were able to accommodate two of us walking up no problem. Maybe on a busy night that wouldn't work as well? All said, this pizzeria was an awesome treat for our fist night in Italy!
