Pizza Lovers say: "Amazing pizzas, excellent dough, and a fun scissor-cutting experience. However, some found the flavor incomplete or the pepperoni too spicy."

One of the best pizza restaurants in Amsterdam but this time we had to wait more than an hour to get our pizzas. But because of that dessert and limoncello were on the house which was nice of them of course. The pistachio cheesecake was new I guess, it was one of the best dessert I’ve ever eaten. You should definitely try it.

We had real Neapolitan-style pizza here. The place is small and cozy, so I’d recommend making a reservation. As shown in the photos, we ordered two different pizzas and the polpette della nonna. Visually, everything looked great, but the meatballs were missing that expected “grandma’s recipe” depth of flavor. Their tomato sauces, however, were excellent. The tiramisu was delicious, and the wine selections on the menu were excellent. As a Neapolitan pizza lover, I also have to mention that the dough felt slightly over-fermented and disappeared a bit too quickly in the mouth. Other than that, the service was very friendly and attentive.

We run into this place because we were looking for pizza, and we saw the good reviews and decided to give it a try. And indeed it was a very good choice. The pizzas were amazing. Taste wise it was excellent. The staff was also very polite :). Plus we had to cut the pizzas with scissors which was fun. İ would definitely recommend this place.

We decided to visit this place because the pizzas looked amazing in the photos from the reviews, and to be fair, they do look just as good in real life. However, there was something missing in the overall flavor. I’m not sure if it’s the ingredients or the seasoning, but the taste felt a bit incomplete. The pepperoni pizza was extremely spicy, to the point where I wouldn’t recommend it. On the other hand, the mortadella and pistachio pizza was much better and definitely the highlight of what we tried. The wines were also a pleasant surprise — well-selected and enjoyable, even the most affordable options were genuinely good. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Just be aware that you need a reservation, as the place gets quite busy. Overall, I think the pizzas are slightly overrated based on the hype. Would I come back again? I’m not entirely sure.

The pizza dough was excellent, and the cheese bread came in a generous portion, which was a nice touch. That said, some details kept it from being a standout experience: the sauce could have used a bit more flavor, the cheese bread leaned on the heavier side, and drinks were quite small for the price. Service was friendly but a little disorganized — other people's orders got confused often and they kept asking if it was for our table. The pizza arrived unsliced, and we were given scissors to handle it ourselves, which was quirky if a bit unusual. Total cost was around 20 per person, which I find expensive for pizza. Overall, not a bad place, just not as memorable as other restaurants we tried.

As an Italian, this is a REAL pizza. The quality of the mozzarella and of the tomato sauce was really good. I ordered the pizza margherita and it was 12,50€, which is an average price to be in Amsterdam. Furthermore, they are pretty kind. :)
