I really don’t understand why this place has 4,8 stars. I trusted it and went there for dinner and I really regret it. Food: At the start we were told that instead of focaccia we would get pizza dough because the focaccia burned. The waitress asked if that was okay, so I didn’t mind at the time — but now I see it was a bad sign. For a starter we got runderstoof served with mini cheese croquettes that were fried not long enough and soaked in fat. I’ve never seen deep fried cheese croquettes like this in Italy or in any Italian restaurant. The next starter was burrata. I ate it with the toppings it came with. At the end I tried the burrata alone and it was slightly fizzy — meaning it was old or stored in wrong temperature! I think because of that I had stomach pain the whole night. The funghi pizza wasn’t just lightly charred — it was completely burnt (I’m adding a photo). You shouldn’t taste bitterness in every bite. Then we ordered tiramisu, which had a runny, almost liquid “cream” (maybe that was the next reason for my stomach problems). In my opinion it was a total disrespect to Italian cuisine. Service: The lady with short hair was very nice and helpful! She listened and offered not to charge us for everything. I didn’t want that, I wanted to pay the full amount, but she insisted and finally removed the drinks from the bill. Sadly, her colleague was not so polite. She clearly didn’t like that I honestly said the food didn’t taste good. She started telling me that their pizza oven works this way and they can’t control how much the pizza bakes 🤯 I politely answered that this is not an explanation in my opinion. But please explain to the staff that just because an oven doesn’t have a timer doesn’t mean you can’t control the baking. Restaurant: The tables are too close to each other. The layout means that anyone sitting with their back to the walkway keeps getting bumped by people passing behind them. I do not recommend this place, and I’m honestly shocked it has such a high rate.

I discovered this restaurant by chance and had a very good experience. The decor is beautiful, the food is delicious, but the best of all was my excellent waiter, Mats Louwers, the best I've had in years. He was able to advise me perfectly on my dishes and wine choices. I definitely recommend this wonderful restaurant. If you go on Sunday, you can be served by Mats, and your dinner will be a thousand times better.

Finally a descent Italian restaurant again in Weert! We went for an early and quick dinner at Mio Mio, sampling three anti-pasti; gamba’s in garlic oil, mussels and Carpaccio. All three dishes were tasteful, we especially loved the mussels. The dishes were also quite large and well priced, again, especially the mussels! We will definitely come back to also sample the pizzas.

Amazing Italian restaurant! Owner is friendly, staff is friendly and quick on their feet, the food is delicious and it’s clean and nicely decorated. I adore the plants hanging everywhere it goves it a homey feeling, but that’s just me personally. Having the oven in the restaurant also gives it a unique atmosphere (don’t dress too warm though). The pizza tastes like the pizza from Italy, beautiful thin crust, but not soggy at all, the flavor is amazing!!! Highly recommend 🙏🏻

Great place. The venue was nice, well decorated with different areas, which makes the restaurant's operations super efficient. The bar and the cuttlery/clean dishes storage is in the middle. The cozy, dark and even romantic restaurant is …
