Pizza Lovers say: "Wood-fired pizzas with light, fluffy crusts and fresh, plentiful toppings are fantastic, though some find the base undercooked and doughy."

Located in a bustling industrial space, Paesano Pizza brings the art of the open kitchen to the center of Glasgow. The atmosphere is electric—filled with the aroma of wood-fired dough and the chatter of guests at long, communal tables. …

I just tried this for the first time last night! I was really looking forward to it as it has so much hype! But I have to say I was really disappointed with this experience The pizza itself tasted incredible! But it was so difficult to eat? The base of the pizza felt a bit undercooked and very doughy. All the toppings just slid off of the slice and onto the plate when I tried to pick it up. I couldn’t even dip my pizza into the dip that I bought because the dip was too thick and the pizza was too wet? I also feel they were a bit shy with the fior de latte? Could just be me I love cheese on my pizza so. The service was also very lack luster, our table waited 20 minuets for our plates to be cleared and there were plenty of servers around. I asked for another water and it was never brought in the end. I’m sad because the actual flavour and taste of the pizza were 🔥🔥🔥 but it was just annoying to eat and I felt like it was a waste of money :( Don’t think I’ll be back

All things wonderful at Paesano! Great vibes, outstanding service and the pizza….fantastic!!! I couldn’t stop eating! I’m from Chicago, so pizza runs in my blood. I will say, I don’t usually eat pizza with a fork and knife, but I didn’t mind it. This wood fire pizza knocked it out of the park! The crust was light and fluffy and the toppings were fresh and plentiful. I appreciated that the server asked if I have any allergies when I ordered my food. 🥰 Wish I had room for the homemade wild berry cheesecake 🤤 you will not be disappointed when you come here!

Great pizza in Glasgow. Generous toppings of good quality. Dough has notes of fresh wheat and good fermented flavour. Overall this is a great spot to have pizza in Glasgow.

Best Pizza in Scotland imho. But what really puts this place over the top is the incredibly friendly and professional service. The staff is always unfailingly patient and kind. A special shout out to Liam who was simply the best at making sure that we were both fed and still got to catch our train.

Visited with my wife for a quick lunch and had a good meal. We shared a rocket and Parmesan salad, followed by a special pizza topped with Tuscan fennel sausage, rosemary potatoes, smoked Scamorza and salsa piccante. The pizza was great, authentic Neapolitan style (been a few times) with a perfectly cooked base and plenty of flavour. At around £15 for the pizza, it offered good value for the quality. Friendly service, no fuss and consistently great food. One of the best spots in Glasgow for a quick bite.

Me and a friend were looking for somewhere to eat before heading out for the evening, and with Glasgow being extremely busy due to both Scotland playing and the Arsenal vs PSG cup final taking place that day, finding somewhere with available tables wasn’t easy. Paesano happened to be the first place we came across where we had a realistic chance of getting seated, and I’m glad we gave it a try. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was lively and welcoming. The restaurant had a great buzz about it without feeling overwhelming, and the decor added to the overall experience. It felt like the kind of place where people were genuinely enjoying themselves, which helped create a great environment to start the evening. The food was excellent. The pizza was fresh, full of flavour, and clearly made with quality ingredients. It was one of those meals where you can immediately tell care has gone into it. In fact, a couple of people from nearby tables even asked what pizza I had ordered because it looked so good, which says a lot in itself. The service was solid throughout the visit, and despite how busy Glasgow was that evening, everything ran smoothly. We never felt rushed, and the overall experience was relaxed and enjoyable. Overall, Paesano turned out to be a fantastic find. What started as a search for somewhere convenient to eat ended up being one of the highlights of the evening. Great food, a lively atmosphere, and a memorable start to a night out in Glasgow. I would happily return in the future.

I have been a massive fan of Paesano since it opened. Left numerous 5 star reviews across many platforms and been a borderline obsessive fanatic, spreading the word for the place for years. On my recent visit it is apparent something has changed. It used to be one of the most consistent restaurants in Glasgow. A signature smell and taste that, to be honest, spoiled many other Pizza establishments for me. I noticed at the counter, stacks of Gustarosso polpa, this looks like a generic pizza sauce rather than the orignal San Marzano. The Pizza (number 5) was sweeter than usual sauce/base and the ham was incredibly salty. The ham quantity had been cut back and on this occasion possibly not a bad thing due to the saltiness. I am devastated as I feel it has been absorbed into a restaurant group now and lost the uniqueness that made it stand out from the crowd.

Soupy, overpriced pizza with the vibe of a cafeteria. Never again.

Not been to Glasgow Paesano in over a year just due to life and being busy but thoroughly enjoyed getting back to this restaurant. It didn't disappoint and food along with staff service was every bit as fantastic as it's always been. We will not be as long for the next visit 😊 x
