Pizza Lovers say: "Extraordinary pizza with thin, crispy crusts, authentic Italian flavors, and a wood-fired oven. Service was attentive, though one reviewer found a bone in chicken."

We tried pizza at this restaurant, and the pizzas were truly outstanding. The flavors were very similar to the ones we had in Italy, which was impressive. The chefs are definitely very skilled. As for the highlights, one of the most positive aspects was the real wood-fired oven inside – absolutely amazing. The fact that the pizzas are made using traditional methods is, in my opinion, one of the key elements that gives them such a rich and authentic flavor. On the downside, I found the overall cleanliness of the restaurant lacking. The soft foods we ordered were not cleaned properly, which was disappointing. Apart from that, everything else was excellent.

Based on previous reviews, I was a bit concerned about the service, but we were actually well taken care of. After our dishes were served, the waiter checked if everything was okay and asked again when we paid, which we appreciated. The only downside was finding a small bone in the boneless chicken thigh, I bit into it and it cracked against my teeth, which was unpleasant. Also, we asked only one drink but the waiter brought us two of the same drink.

Our first night in Zagreb, we ate here. Lovely atmosphere and super delicious pizzas! The wait staff was attentive and we got our food fast. Edit: We came back on our last day in Zagreb and the waiter remembered our order! It was such a nice surprise!

Basta is a gem of a pizzeria where the pizzas are pure joy—thin, crispy crusts with perfectly balanced toppings. The Diavola brought the right kick of spice, while the Bufalina was fresh, creamy, and full of flavor. The staff were warm, prompt, and genuinely welcoming, adding to the feel-good atmosphere. If you're looking for a place where both your taste buds and your mood get lifted, Basta is your stop. Just be warned—you might start craving their crust in your sleep!

Absolutely unacceptable experience. We ordered two pizzas and a salad, and the entire order was inedible. One pizza was completely burnt to a crisp, and the other was so stuck to the box that it was impossible to eat. To top it off, the …

We visited here thinking we could get good Neapolitan pizza but we were sadly mistaken. The pizza dough was flat & burnt, the tomato sauce sour and watery, the cheese …

I went there because it had high ratings, but I regretted it. I sat downstairs, there weren't many people, I called the waiter, whose name was Marko, but he didn't come. I called him several times, he kept me waiting, he didn't come, he just looked at me and ignored me, it was very strange. His behavior afterwards was also very bad. If I were you, I wouldn't go to this restaurant again... Because we come to Croatia to have fun, to travel, to have a good time. Not for someone to treat us like this and upset us. I definitely do not recommend it. There are many other great alternatives in Zagreb.

Visited this pizza restuarant during a short stay in zagreb. We ordered drinks and pizza......the primavera was absolutely delicious and the Buffolina with added salami was equally as nice. Probably the best pizza I've had in a long time. The yellow tomato sauce on the primavera was amazing!! Highly recommend this restaurant!

After a long days travelling and sightseeing there's no better comfort food than pizza and these certainly did the job. We prebooked our table and the place was pretty busy at 7.00pm on a friday so probably best to book to avoid disappointment. No starters so straight to the main event, my wife had a Margerita pizza and it was good, I opted for a Salmone Rosso a fantastic creation with Salmon and caviar, wonderful. The pizzas cost around £10 - £14 each which like most places in Zagreb is a great price, highly recommended for food, ambience and service.

My favorite pizza restaurant in Zagreb! Delicious food, great atmosphere and good quality service. Whenever I'm in the city I love coming here for lunch - my go-to option whether it's with family, friends or even on my own! Also great for birthday celebrations! Make sure to call in advance to book though.
