Volare is a very nice Italian modern restaurant with beautiful interiors and comfortable seating that immediately sets a pleasant atmosphere. The service overall is good and attentive during the meal. The food is solid: pizzas range from good to great, the pastas are good (the carbonara was enjoyable), and the salads are decent. Overall, the kitchen delivers a reliable Italian experience. However, the biggest disappointment was the last order policy. Calling last orders at 8:00 pm is something I have honestly never experienced in any country. What made it worse is that this policy wasn’t clearly communicated in advance, when our booking was at 7:30! We weren’t even asked if we wanted dessert, the staff had already started packing up. This completely cut short the dining experience and left a sour ending to an otherwise pleasant evening. With more flexibility around last orders, or at least better communication (especially for desserts), Volare could be a much more enjoyable experience.

Proper Italian Food, Cozy Place, Friendly Staff. They are already certified for their Napoletana Style Pizza as well. Recommended 👍

This place is one of my favorite restaurant in Korea. I went here about more than 30 times. They have original italian food, so the food is not heavy but they do gives delightful feelings after you eat. Please come here and joy the tasty original italian food. Ps: their servers are very polite.

Worst customer service experience I have ever had at a restaurant or eating establishment of any sort. Lived in Korea for more than ten years and been an expat for a very long time. After the server misheard the order, he insisted loudly that it was not his fault. His boss then came out and doubled down. Any normal person would apologize for the confusion and try to make it right. Not here. Very weird place.

Meal budget per person (without drinks) Category 1 (under 60000 KRW, 50 USD) Being the member of AVPN (Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana), the restaurant specializes in Naples Pizza and Pasta Fresca. Bread with Pan Con Tomate is served free of charge. - Salame Piccante (쌀라메 삐깐떼, 29): The Pizza is made upon order on the spot and very tasty according to its pride in Pizza. - Spaghetti Alla Carbonara (까르보나라 스파게티, 23K) - Pappardelle Al Ragu Alla Bolognese (볼로네제 생면 빠빠르델레, 31K): It has good texture of chewy pasta fresca. The sauce seems to be strong and salty, so my recommendation is to enjoy this wonderful dish also with the bread. - Linguine Al Frutti Di Mare (해산물 링귀니, 30K): The ingredients are fresh and with generous amount. The sauce seems to be strong and salty, so my recommendation is to enjoy this good dish with the bread. - Rib Eye Steak (꽃등심 스테이크, 41K): Medium well is recommended and it is savory with deeply juicy. It has open kitchen so, it is also interesting to see cooking process of Pizza. Reservations are required because it is a famous restaurant in this town. Valet parking is available for comfortable visit.

I ordered a carbonara for my children and clearly asked the waiter to remove the black pepper. I never said “put less pepper.” I specifically asked for no pepper. What arrived was a dish with an excessive amount of black pepper, completely inedible for children. When I raised the issue, the waiter claimed that I had said “just put a little pepper.” This is simply not true, and being told something I never said was extremely frustrating. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, they immediately shifted the blame to the customer. The response from the kitchen was even worse. There was no apology at all. The chef insisted that the waiter had done nothing wrong and tried to end the situation by just removing the item from the bill, as if that alone was sufficient.

I visited Volare to find a real pizza in Korea. It was a really great standard napoli style italian, wood fired pizza. I had the Buffalo Margarita and burrata with anchovies. All the food was fantastic even though I showed up early. Wine list was not large but found some excellent choices. The staff were well trained in serving and overall found in to be fantastic. I have not tried enough pizza in Korea, but I would. not be surprised if it is the best. It is a hundred times better than the few I have tried here so far.

I am Italian and i never go to italian restaurants abroad. Basic and simple rule to avoid to be disappointed. This time i have been forced to have a dinner here: what a nice surprise! The food is exellent. Well cooked and using high quality base material. Burrata, pasta cacio e pepe, pizza al prosciutto: all very good! Also the environment is representing the italian style of today! Exellent guys. Proud of being italian.
