I loved everything about the Grand Hyatt Incheon! I was impressed with this hotel due to the ease of finding the airport shuttle when arriving from an international flight. The shuttle is frequent and takes about five minutes to reach the hotel. The first thing that struck me was how calm the entire arrival process felt, almost like the hotel was intentionally designed to make travel less stressful. The hotel is located near other airport hotels and small restaurants along with convenience stores like 7-11. The lobby is spacious and inviting with agents ready to check you in right away. The rooms are amazing. From lush beds to great bathtubs, I genuinely felt as if I were in a luxury apartment rather than an airport hotel. The gym is fantastic and huge, and I was able to work out a couple of times a day since it is open 24 hours. There is also an indoor pool, hot tub, and separate male and female spa areas that allow you to fully relax. The Regency Club is a delight with a wide selection of everything you could want. I especially appreciated how quiet the entire hotel felt despite being next to a major international airport. The Grand Hyatt Incheon was a fantastic hotel and I cannot wait for my next layover.

The Stereotype Exists for a Reason Sometimes stereotypes exist because they are true. The Hyatt isn't just a hotel; it’s a machine built to make you feel important. From the moment I walked in, the service was flawless. The shuttle was waiting. The chocolates were there. The staff didn't just take my luggage; they practically fought for the privilege. They were eager, polite, and genuinely invested in getting me to happy hour. This is exactly what you pay for: a friction-free experience where everything works. If you are passing through and need a guaranteed win, this is the place. A great stay from start to finish.

The room was super clean and extremely spacious. The hotel staff were very helpful and welcoming during my stay. The bar and buffet restaurant were decious and well managed. The only improvement I would suggest is to increase the shuttle bus frequency. Waiting for 30 minutes for the shuttle bus in the cold winter was not fun.

We had a very short stay of just one night as we were on our way back home while transiting through Incheon. We appreciated the warm welcome from the hotel staff. The lounge dinner and the indoor heated pool were highlights of our short stay. I wish we could have stayed for breakfast, but maybe next time. The hotel also has an outdoor playground and area for kids to run around, and although it was below freezing and getting dark when we saw the area, my kid still ran around for a bit to burn some energy. The hotel shuttle is free and runs twice an hour. It seemed very busy on our arrival and departure days on Jan. 1 and 2, and I wonder if the shuttle ever runs out of space and if so, what happens. There are other hotels in the immediate vicinity that also offer shuttles, so I guess maybe overflow guests can also try to catch a shuttle from another hotel and walk over. Rooms were comfortable, but there was no shade in the bathroom in our two twin-bed room on the 11th floor, so at night the light from the bathroom brightened the rest of the room, a note for those who wants pitch darkness when they sleep. I would recommend the hotel to install electric curtains for the glass. One complimentary bottle of water was provided in the room, and there is also a kettle to boil water if needed. The only feedback I have for the food in the lounge is that it would have been more special if there were more Korean dishes. I think the only truly Korean dish on Jan. 1 was the kimbap, but we would have loved to have been able to sample more Korean dishes, although I understand that many local families also visit the hotel and dine in the lounge and perhaps the food is more international style to cater to them. We enjoyed our stay overall and would return again if we find ourselves transiting through ICN.
