Pizza near Buckingham Palace

Buckingham Palace became the sovereign’s official London residence in 1837. The State Rooms still serve ceremonial entertaining, but public access is seasonal and ticketed rather than an everyday walk-in attraction.

When the State Rooms are open, the one-way visitor route covers roughly 2 km and usually takes around two hours. Timed entry and airport-style security shape the start; the finish may run through the garden to Grosvenor Place. Do not assume you will leave through the same gate where you entered.

That exit favors Victoria for the broadest transport and restaurant choice. Turn northwest for Hyde Park Corner and Mayfair, or work around the palace toward Green Park and St James’s. The palace frontage itself offers less useful pizza choice than those surrounding districts.
