My wife and I stopped by for drinks and tapas with no reservation. Very charming place and even though they were busy, they were happy to fit us in with no reservation. Claudia brought us a delicious limoncello at the end. I wish I were

Some of the best Italian food we have ever had. We are vegetarian and got the gnocchi al pesto and margarita pizza, both of which were delicious but the gnocchi was honestly some of the best we’ve had. Highly recommend this restaurant! Would recommend reserving beforehand. The service is great and the ambiance is nice!

Loooved this authentic Italian restaurant. The pistachio pizza was a great way to start! The caprese salad was alright but not my favorite as it didn’t taste as it did back in Italy 🤭 maybe because tomatoes are not in season? But ANYWAYS,

The food and service are excellent in this traditional Italian restaurant. The pizza is definitely one of the best in Madrid! It’s very well cooked and the dough used is top notched. Very tasty and authentic. For those who are lactose

Favourite restaurant and favourite experience in Madrid. So happy we found this amazing little gem. Lion our waiter was the best. Authentic Italian food, cute venue with superb service and food. Do yourself a favour and skip all the tourist places and have an amazing dinner here.

Do yourself a favor and make sure you dine here when visiting Madrid. The food was incredible. Get the truffle pasta dish. Claudia is amazing and the prices are unbelievable. One of the greatest stops we had in Madrid.

The food is hit or miss. My pasta was really bland but my husband’s was flavorful. Also some issues with the service: - They put bread on your table as soon as you sit down, so you assume it is free and then find out that they charge 5 euros for it on the bill. - After we paid, the staff person stood over me insisting I give them and 5 star review on Google and wouldn’t take no for an answer. We wouldn’t return to this place.

Looked at the TripAdvisor reviews and thought you can't go wrong with a traditional Italian restaurant. How wrong were we!! We were after a good pizza with a nice Italian tomato salad. The menu is in Spanish unless you scan a QR code. There was only three salads available so we chose the chicken salad with artichoke hearts. The pizza was ham and mushroom. The salad didn't have any dressing, there was a tiny scattering of cherry tomatoes and artichoke hearts straight out of a jar tossed onto the top of lots of salad leaves. The pizza wasn't cut and was soggy. The house white wine was undrinkable.Read more

Lovely Italian in Madrid. I ordered a muscle and shrimp pasta which was exceptionally good. The restaurant accommodated me as a solo diner and I’d definitely recommend it if you’re in Madrid.Read more

It cannot be recommended. The food was fine, but the service was so bad that it ruined the experience, unfortunately with some guests I brought. They served food without drinks, a wine list without prices, we had to repeat orders for ice or cheese to get them to bring it, they didn't remove bottles or glasses from the table, they offered us the check without being able to order dessert because they were tight for the next shift... a chaos, a shameRead more

Excellent experience, with great breads, burrata, and a good truffle dish We went to Trattoria Pulcinella specifically in search of a good pasta with black truffles. We really like truffles and, researching recommendations in Madrid, we found the restaurant and decided to go. The experience started very well. We chose an excellent Italian Primitivo wine and were served with wonderful breads and focaccias. One of the big highlights was the spread served with the bread: simply delicious and one of those things you keep eating even knowing that the whole dinner is still ahead. For the starters, we asked for a carpaccio, which was correct, but nothing exceptional, and a very good burrata. As a main course, we went straight for the truffle pasta that had motivated our visit. It was tasty and well prepared, with a good presence of truffle, although, given the expectation we had created, we expected something a little more striking. In the set, however, we had an excellent experience. The restaurant is cozy, pleasant, the service was very good and the food is of quality. I would go back and recommend it without problems for anyone looking for a good Italian trattoria in Madrid.Read more
