I loved this place. After arriving at the train station in Florence it was about a 7 minute walk which was perfect when I arrived a little late in the evening. It’s in a safe area and I didn’t have a reservation, but was able to get a table. They sat me right away and I told the server I’m gluten free and they gave me two pieces of gluten free bread that were excellent, olive oil, vinegar and I ordered Chianti, carpaccio, and the meat pasta with onion sauce. Everything was fantastic and I really enjoyed this meal. Service was great and the decor was homey and clean. The seats were a little uncomfortable as a 5’9” woman it was not easy to cut the food in the chair because of the shape of the arms, but that really wasn’t a big deal and the food is just amazing.

This is my favorite place in Florence. I felt like family because I could eat EVERYTHING gluten free. It was so special for me. The owner makes you feel like family as well as the servers. If you are gluten free (or not) this is a DO NOT MISS. It was a great experience. The inside of the restaurant my blends old world with modern seamlessly. The food is fantastic. EVERY MENU ITEM CAN BE MADE GLUTEN FREE. My GF truffle ravioli was perfect. Highly recommend me coming here

We enjoyed a great lunch for the first time at Ciro & Son’s last year and were excited to return on our most recent trip to Florence this month. The margarita pizza is consistently delicious. Love the crust and the fresh flavors. We also love the refreshing insalata Italia (arugula salad was absolutely delicious with tomatoes, Parmesan and croutons). This year we paired our meal with the 2024 Bolgheri Bianco and last year we really enjoyed the Gavi. It was good to see Giuseppe again and a lot of familiar faces from this family owned restaurant. “Alex” Alessandro was a very kind and welcoming waiter. The ambiance is nice and lively. We look forward to our next visit!

Had such a great experience at Ciro & Sons! The food was amazing, and it’s honestly rare to find such high-quality food that handles gluten-free and lactose-free options so well. The atmosphere was perfect, but what really made the night was the service: everyone was so welcoming, especially Alex and Camila. They really went out of their way to look after us and made the evening feel special.

As someone who eats gluten-free, it can be very difficult to navigate safe options when eating out. However, this restaurant was the most accommodating I have ever experienced; their ENTIRE menu can not only be made gluten-free, but

. No joke—I’m from NYC, and this is hands down the best pizza and steak I’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional. The entire staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making sure we had

We tried both the pasta and pizza. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive throughout our visit. When they learned that we were Turkish, they became even warmer and more welcoming, which genuinely made us happy.

They have two kitchens to allow celiac safe dining for all. The entire menu can be made gluten free or with gluten and everything is marked when it arrives. The GF focaccia and gluten free bread were soft and tasty. We enjoyed the octopus,

Food was OK. It just lacked the authentic Italian meal we were hoping to experience. 3 people in our party ordered pasta, 1 got shrimp risotto and 1 chose the bisteca. Clearly we should have ordered the pizza though...next time! Regardless,

Overall a good spot but not a must try given the reputation. The lobster pasta was delicious and the diavola pizza was good, well cooked. Great ambiance inside but it was very packed and felt a bit claustrophobic as you are so close to

We went to Ciro & sons for their gluten free food. The restaurant has a unique vibe and style. We had the octopus carpaccio which was amazing, then pizza with burrata and pesto and calamari pasta. They have a wide array for Italian dishes and they offer gluten free dough, and lactose free cheeses to suit all allergies. It is a great spot to visit when in Florence.Read more

Had a great little lunch here with my wife as we made our way across town from the Bargello to Santa Maria Novella. Located just a stone’s throw from the Medici Chapel, you can go big or go light. We had a mergherita pizza and the octopus carpaccio which were both excellent. Thanks to Alex and the team for a great quick bit between our other stops that day!Read more

Really yummy food during my visit to florence. I recommend the chicken and mushrooms with the mashed potatoes. The atmosphere is really chill and the service was very nice. It wasn’t too far from our hostel so not a long walk. There wasn’t a long wait time but we made a reservation and the prices aren’t bad at all.Read more
