  We had a fabulous lunch here, we were a group of four friends celebrating a birthday. The food was superb, high quality ingredients, sensible portion sizes and reasonably priced. The staff were fantastic and attentive, very enjoyable experience. We will most definitely be visiting again, and again, and again.

  We visited with a reservation at 8 o’clock for four people, including my elderly parents. Upon arrival at 8, we were told the restaurant was overbooked and were asked to sit in an upstairs hall, separated from the main dining area. Unfortunately, this was not a suitable option due to my parents’ difficulty with stairs (as well as not wanting to sit alone away from everyone else), so we declined. The staff then offered to seat us downstairs after an estimated 10-minute wait, which we accepted without issue. While waiting near the stairs for a table to become available, an intoxicated man with his family who was finishing his meal began aggressively yelling at us and at the waitresses, accusing us of staring at him and indirectly rushing him to leave the table. We were simply standing there waiting for our table and ignored him as he yelled and made a scene in front of his two young children. The situation was uncomfortable and unpleasant. After the man eventually left, we were seated. However, instead of receiving a welcoming introduction, the waitress (name is Juliana I believe) approached us in a confrontational manner, seemingly taking the side of the disruptive guest whom she claimed was a regular (and seemingly of more importance than us). She insisted that we had an upstairs reservation (which was not the case) and implied that we had caused the situation. At that point, feeling unwelcome and unfairly treated, we decided to leave without ordering. It was extremely disappointing to experience such disorganization and lack of hospitality.

  Great food, great location, great atmosphere but the staff (except only one) don't smile. Guys, you have to add a smile to your face with the customers, because they pay, don't eat for free! Definitely will visit again in the near future.

  A total penalty, in exchange they have had. We visited this place for the first time in 2023 and since then we have been coming every year. Here we met an Italian pizza master with a great knowledge of the world of pizza. We went to talk to him because we saw on the wall a plaque of his association as a master pizzaiolo and we wanted to meet him. Thanks to him we discovered one of the best pizzas we have ever tasted, and we say it as a group of pizza makers and working in this sector. With great disappointment, this time we did not find it. The pizza they are offering now has nothing to do with the one before: it is like chewing gum, difficult to chew, with clear kneading and cooking problems. A shame, because the level they had was really high. And now they have become like almost all the pizzerias in the entire area. I'm sorry but you have lost a lot of quality in the pizza.

  Absolutely fantastic Italian food! Authentic Naepolitan pizza, superb pasta's and great seating outside at the front. Delicious wines. The best of the best!

  Visited Avanti with my friend’s great food but wow, waiter staff need a personality transplant. Wrong job to be in who ever is in charge get your staff to interact with paying customers it makes the job a lot more enjoyable.
