Lucia Pizza

Lucia began as pizza nights around a brick oven in the Long Island backyard of Salvatore Carlino's parents. Carlino grew up in the trade: his father, a Sicilian immigrant, founded Papa Leone's Pizzeria in Brooklyn in 1974. This Avenue X shop in Sheepshead Bay was the first Lucia, opened with longtime friends, and the name comes from the Latin for light.

Generous cheese, tasty crust, and delicious vodka pizza with fresh basil stand out. The menu is very limited.

The restaurant is located in the Sheepshead Bay section of Brooklyn. They prepare Italian cuisine. Several tables are available for dining in but there are no servers. Salads 🥗, appetizers, heroes, pizza 🍕, sides and beverages are on

Wow, amazingly delicious NY-style pizza at local Brooklyn prices and not inflated Manhattan prices. Good food and service at good prices. Who would've thought that business model would work?!! That is why Lucia X has slowly become our new

The burger at Lucia Pizza was seriously delicious! 🍔🔥 Super juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The bun was incredibly soft and made every bite even better. Simple, satisfying, and definitely worth trying! 😋

I had Lucia Pizza of Ave X several times now and every time I order it I remember why I keep going back, the food is amazing and consistent. Just the mozzarella sticks alone show the passion in their food. These aren't your regular frozen

This has become our favorite spot for a sit-down pizza meal. The crust is phenomenal, no matter which pie you choose, and I have worked the menu! My go-to favorite is the carmella picante, with hot cherry peppers, pepperoni, and Mike's

I especially enjoyed the pepperoni pizza — it’s the best option on the menu and I definitely recommend it 🍕 However, there is one major downside. I’ve been here multiple times, and the

used to be my favorite pizza place now the food is always cold and dry, the mozz sticks were always my favorite and now they are just rubber and burnt. very sad. wish it was better, gave them a few try’s after not having it for a couple years but the quality has just went down.

Pretty cutie pizza shop with seating inside and outside. We got a few slices to share plus the Saturday shrimp pizza. A few hit and misses for the table. I personally prefer the crust with the big air bubbles with a fluffy and light chew

I came here because of bozo influencers overhyping everything. My buddy and I first ordered a vodka slice and a plain cheese. We were both disappointed, considering all the over promising, and almost left to go someplace else. Pizza Time

Lucia's is fine, but l've still had better. The prices at their Bklyn location were pretty standard for the area. Their online menus don't include tax, FYI.

nice slice of pizza saturday shrimp pizza special. Good shrimp but fishy, and the vodka slice was different and the sauce was deelish. Crispy crust and bottom was thin and the cheese pull packs it all. Almost $16 for two slices and a pure tea bev! Worth a date eating inside tho.

Gave This place 2 try’s to redeem itself due to the first issue. The first time, I ordered a plain pie for delivery and received a pepperoni, the second time the pizza arrived late, stale and cold. It’s like they had it premade and just

Checked this place out because of Pizza Wars on First We Feast YouTube channel. We got the plain, margherita, and clam pies to eat at in-laws (10 minutes away).

As I walk out of here , I just needed to leave a great review. Their pepperoni slice , mozzarella sticks were just wow. It reminds me of what L'Industrie Pizzeria in Williamsburg could’ve been but better. My boyfriend and I ordered one slice each and ended up getting more. Definitely will be back.

Lucia’s is located in a small space with just a few tables. We stopped in on a Saturday to specifically try their vodka pizza. The space was pleasant and clean, with posters of Italy on the walls. The vodka pizza was delicious, definitely one of the best I’ve tried. The vodka sauce was excellent, the cheese generous, and the pizza was topped with fresh basil leaves. The menu is very limited. Prices are reasonable. They also have a location in the Soho area of Manhattan, so if you are phoning in an order, make sure you have the correct location. Highly recommend!

My family of 4 went here for lunch and had a great time. We ordered pizzas by the slice and wound up ordering 9 different slices. They were all very good. We would all love to go back.
