  Visited with my daughter on a Friday evening. Staff were welcoming and explained the pizzas. We had double pepperoni Chicago and a buffalo chicken Detroit. I enjoyed the Chicago but would rather a little more pepperoni to offset the amount of cheese (the pepperoni itself was excellent). The buffalo Detroit was excellent, could not fault it. Will definitely go again when next I’m Manchester.

  Me and my friend visited American Pies in Manchester on a Friday afternoon, and we had an absolutely brilliant experience from start to finish. We ended up ordering what felt like half the menu because everything sounded so good, and honestly, we were not disappointed. The food was absolutely divine. Everything was cooked perfectly, full of flavour, and presented really well. We enjoyed every bite and left completely stuffed, which is always a good sign. The staff were fantastic throughout our visit. They made us feel welcome straight away, checked in on us during the meal, and helped create a really relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The layout of the restaurant was lovely too, with a nice feel to the place and a good overall vibe. The location was also a pleasant surprise. It is in a part of Manchester we do not usually venture into, but we were really impressed by the area and it added to the experience. The food is slightly on the pricier side, but not unreasonable for the quality, portion sizes, and overall experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would definitely recommend American Pies to anyone looking for great food, friendly service, and a proper satisfying meal.

  Wow, just wow! Potentially the best pizzas we’ve ever eaten! My fiance got the pepperoni Chicago deep pan style and I went for the veggie Detroit style pizza! Absolutely delicious! Full of toppings, didn’t scrimp on my veg at all! Fluffy pizzas, huge and plentiful for the price. Staff were so friendly and I love the decor. Highly recommend!

  My partner and I booked on a busy Friday evening. Everything was first class from start to finish. Friendly efficient service, good choice of draft beers and ciders, fantastic food and great portion sizes. The deep fried lasagne starter was delicious! We went for one Detroit and one Chicago pizza for mains. The latter was very rich but delicious. Glad of the takeaway box so we could snack on it later. The prices are typical of the Ancoats area and we felt it was value for money. Will definitely be back :-)
