I had a wonderful experience today at Pizzeria Azzurri. The staff was incredibly kind, and the Pizza Margherita was the best I have ever had outside of Italy! I highly recommend it! I would definitely take the one-hour train ride again just for this great food! I can’t wait to come back!

Honestly one of the best pizzas I've had, worldwide. As a starter I had the mixed anti-pasti which were great. Seasonal ingredients made gave this a really refreshing aspect. (Squid with capers where my favourite) the waitress took her time to explain all of the ingredients in english and asked in advance if we had any allergies. As main I had a margarita with Buffala. The base is thin with a fluffy crust. The fresh basil had a lovely strong flavour and they were generous with the olive oil. The service was very attentive and friendly, contrary to a few reviews here. Yes, for Japan it is a bit pricey but its definitely worth visiting.

I went for dinner around 18:30 on a Tuesday night and, the place was already pretty full. For starters we ordered the Antipasto misto. I really enjoyed the fried cauliflower and egg. They cauliflower was very soft and almost like a creamy texture. We ordered two pizzas the Funghi con formaggi and the romana. They where both really good pizzas and, the crust was light and easy to eat. I personally preferred the Funghi con formaggi because I loved mushroom and cheese. The service was overall great, they where very attentive and fast. They shop was a little too hot but other than that had a great atmosphere. I would love to go there again.

Probably the best pizza I’ve had in Japan! A bit expensive (by Japanese standards) at ~¥1700 for a Margherita, but I found the portion size was large which made up for it. It tasted authentically Italian and I loved the Italian decor, if a little small inside. The service was also very fast, would definitely recommend if you’re in Kobe ☺️🍕

I have never experienced such bad service in any of the restaurants in Japan before. The waiter and the waitress are quite arrogant and not willing to help customers. They kept urging us to order food and drinks, then while we are still eating, cleaning the plates at our table and took the glasses. They did not leave any room for us to talk and chill over meal. And chased us to pay the bill as fast as we could. (Watch out: up to 10,000, cash only!!!) the shopkeeper also not very friendly, I noticed he kept staring at our table with quite rude facial expressions. Overall, if you are looking for a good pizza restaurant with good service and atmosphere plus reasonable price, definitely don’t come to this one!!! nothing worth coming here again, Super super disappointed!!!

Nice and cozy place to be. Food was absolutely delicious and the serving size was also good. Staff is good. Ambience is also not bad. Cute, charming lil cozy pizzeria to be. Loved the margarita n Quattro formagi pizza. Spaghetti n Desserts were scrumptious.

Original space, maybe too much tables in a small place, pizza is good, except for the topping; if I ordered a margherita I can give more points, but we ordered a mushrooms pizza and the mushrooms were only 8 mini slice... the other one, was the same, few topping... but price was expensive in despite of the ingredients.

I love pizza. This small pizzeria did not disappoint. You will want to make a reservation since seating is limited. It is authentic, fresh, and delicious. It is a family run restaurant. The husband has some Italian descent. His wife is Japanese. They are lovely. The service was great and there is much more to choose from besides pizza. It is family friendly.
