Spectacular place in Rome for Pizza. Frumentario offers “pizza squares” with various toppings, for around 24€ per kilo. You go, decide for the toppings, they heat it up for you, and then you can stand outside on one of the tables and enjoy …

Genuinely incredible pizza .. and we have had many: innovative, colourful, varied, tasty, crunchy, juicy, friendly & kind, staff speak some English yet little enough to be authentic Roman. Highly recommended. Love the extra sauces and anchovies on the pizza once it’s been warmed up. Will be going back next time I am Rome no matter where I am staying!!

After a nice 30 minutes walk from colosseum, we had an amazing lunch at Frumentario. The pizzas were so delicious and unique, and the staff were very friendly and helped us pick between the different toppings. I would recommend to try flavors that you usually wouldn’t, it will surprise you!

Delicious take away pizza squares. You just can’t go wrong with any of their flavors. I loved the guanciale with brie and the sweet potato one. And also and no less important the price is very very fair.

Frumentario serves outstanding pizzas made with high-quality ingredients and creative flavor combinations that truly stand out. The service was exceptional — the person serving was attentive, took the time to explain each pizza, and made us feel genuinely welcome as tourists. Every bite reflected a thoughtful balance of tradition and innovation. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. It's a must-visit spot for anyone who appreciates great unique foods and flavours.
