This restaurant is named after the Italian actress Sophia Loren, and I really liked that the interior is decorated with many of her photos. We had a reservation at 5 PM. We wanted to dine inside the restaurant, but indoor service was already finished at that time, so we had our meal outside. The staff was friendly and the food came out quickly. The Pomodoro pizza(€20) and Spritz Aperol(15€) was really delicious, but the Linguine Lobster (€32) was disappointing. There was barely any lobster meat, it had a slight fishy smell, and the pasta lacked seasoning. However, the atmosphere of the restaurant was truly beautiful—perfect for enjoying dinner in the evening.

Sophia Loren Restaurant Milano: A Taste of Glamour with a Reasonable Price Tag Sophia Loren Restaurant Milano offers a delightful dining experience that combines the allure of its namesake with delicious food and surprisingly reasonable prices. What We Loved: The Food: The menu features a range of classic Italian dishes, all expertly prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The Ambiance: The restaurant exudes a sophisticated and elegant atmosphere, reminiscent of the iconic actress herself. The décor is stylish and inviting, creating a perfect setting for a special occasion or a romantic dinner. The Service: The staff was attentive and friendly, providing excellent service throughout our meal. They were knowledgeable about the menu and happy to offer recommendations. The Value: Despite the glamorous setting and high-quality food, the prices were surprisingly reasonable. We felt that we received excellent value for our money.

Beautiful restaurant with great food! Also reasonably priced for the area. Mozzarella was so good and fresh. Gnocchi was decent, and calzone was quite good as well. The wine went down easy too haha. Only complaint was that we were sat in the front in the greenhouse area, and we felt like animals in a zoo as people looked at our food as they walked by haha. Would have preferred to sit inside.

The experience started off bad by I am guessing who is the older male, head waiter or leader of the waitstaff. Very unprofessional and unfriendly. Made it known he didn’t care to wait on us. The younger waitstaff (male and a female) we ok.. soft and kind spoken but not attentive unless we waived them down. The older lead waiter was very rude to them to. He talked down to them like they were less important (but he talked down to us too so I shouldn’t have expected anything else). The restaurant is quite large but separated by a wall. They keep the front half full to put up the appearance of a full, busy restaurant. That is completely misleading. The food is a whole other story. Pasta was under cooked (less than Al dente). Sauces were odd. One was more like a can of condensed tomato soup than a pasta sauce. We ordered 3 pizzas and at first visual, they appeared nicely made. However, once you attempted to cut into it, you realize how unsubstantial the bottom crust is. Literally paper thin and badly burned. The taste of the entire pizza was overtaken by the gross burnt flavor. Very disappointing experience and very off putting staff/service. Not at ALL a £200 meal with or without their bogus added fees that they slide in and don’t tell you about. Also, if your bread can be thrown and break a window, you probably shouldn’t serve it.

While walking in Milan, we had found a restaurant that looked good - clean and there were many people in there. We decided to sit there because it was very hot and inside there was an air conditioner. While I was getting out of the restroom, I saw many photos of Sophia Lauren. Then my friends told me it was her restaurant. We had pizzas. They were one of the most delicious that we have ever had. The service was perfect - kind, helpful and objective.

The experiences was terrible, very poor staff, staff disappearing through service, headless chickens , cherry tomatoes were of very poor quality , poorly presented dish...avoid restaurant... Generally Milan restaurants in the central area, canna districts are overpriced , with poorly paid seasonal staff whom don"t speak the worlds international business language..

A beautiful restaurant in a very busy part of central Milan. The food is really good and the serving staff were absolutely charming. We stayed in Milan for a week and ate lunch here on four different occasions. Not surprisingly, we tried lots of different dishes from the menu, all of which were delicious.
