The place is ALWAYS crowded and there is good reason for it as it serves one of the best pan pizzas in Torino and arguably the very best farinata in the whole city. The restaurant does not take reservations at more likely than not you'll have to wait outside before a table frees for you. From here on everything happens very quickly as there are always other people waiting and the service is super super fast (they waste no time in taking your order - the men is rather short). Opened since 1935 I guess it has been popular ever since, especially with local people (there is no english menu, but you can't go wrong with farinata + pizza). Prices are very honest. Pan pizzas are smaller than traditional Italian pizzas, but they are also thicker, so almost as filling (and you can always take two at these prices or enjoy a traditional dessert like the classic Bonet)

The best farinata in Torino. The best pizza al tegamino. Homemade desserts. It’s a must try!

Da Gino feels homey and familiar. The food is so good, feels like they really put their heart into it. I come by Da Gino every time I’m in Torino for a good farinata

Honestly, seeing the reviews you expect a lot but in the end it did not taste like anything at all. Staff were great even though it was extremely busy. If you want to dine in you should be ready to wait 10-15 minutes. For take out we waited 25 minutes and portions are extremely small so to feel full get two of everything.

Don't make yourself fool from the size of the pizza. The pizzas were extremely filling and tasty. Try this place if you are in Turin! The best pizza I had in months within north Italy.
