  This place has been on my list forever. Finally made my way to trying it and it lived up the hype. There was a pretty long wait to dine in but you could order takeout and eat on a few of the benches outside. Line moved fast to order and wait time after was reasonable. I think we tried every slice on the menu except the tomato slice. I think they rotate flavors. Overall, the crust is fantastic without being overly thick, burnt, or oily. Their red sauce is packed with flavor and has a sweetness to it that I really liked. It’s probably my overall favorite pizza in LA so far. I’m not a big pizza guy though. Definitely preferred this over Apollonia’s. I think the Quiet Storm with the cured lemon and thyme would be the only one I wouldn’t order again. It was delicious but has a sharp acidity to it that intensifies as you eat it. Still a great unique slice though. But, but, but… my fave thing about this place is they’re lowkey an amazing place to get desserts. I only tried their famous princess cake and it’s probably one of the best desserts I’ve had all year in LA. It’s a chiffon cake with layers of marscapone, jam, and wrapped in marzipan. I’m not a huge marzipan fan at all but the taste here was subtle and worked well. Overall light, airy, not overly sweet, but super well balanced. Would come back for this alone. Can def see what the hype is all about. Will be back.

  It's sometimes difficult keeping your head straight when trying a place with as much hype as this one. I had heard of this spot for a year+ and it has been nothing but glowing reviews. "Best pizza in LA", "Worth the Hype", "Must Try", etc, etc. I finally got to see for myself what the deal was. First things first, I went here during Thanksgiving weekend when everyone in Silverlake had left LA for their family homes back in Ohio where they belong. Even with this, parking was tough. I ended up walking a few blocks from where I parked to Quarter Sheets. They hadn't opened yet and there was already a line 12+ people deep. My recommendation? Get a reservation. Non-holiday times will be much trickier, more frustrating, less worth it. Anyway, I got there 15 min before they opened and my party of 2 was still given a 1.5 hour wait time before seating. So we got a couple slices to-go. (1) Tomato slice and (1) Sicilian corner. Tomato Slice Man, their dough is good. The bread is crispy, oil-rich, and very airy. The tomato sauce is rich and acidic. I could have eaten a whole pie of this, easily. 8/10 Sicilian Corner Dough was even more rich. Crispy where it almost tasted like it was fried in olive oil. So good. Sauce was great but the meat(!) was so, so good. This was described as a Bolognese slice and it tasted just like that. Simple, quality ingredients really shone through. 9/10 So, it looks like this spot was worth the hype. We saved our cake testing for another time when we can actually dine in. Until then, the pizza is pretty dang good. I would say it is worth its reputation for sure. Get reservations and show up early to get parking.

  I had been wanting to try this spot for a while, and it didn’t disappoint! Inside is super tiny so try to snag a reservation if you can. If not, they do take some walk-ins. The surprisingly delicious part of the night was the house salad. It’s a huge portion and the dressing is so good. Simple and delicious. The meatballs were also excellent and come with garlic cheesy bread. The slices are definitely big enough to split. We got three different slices and split them all. The crust was perfectly thick and crispy. And you must finish with the princess cake - nice and light after the heavy pizza.

  After an 11.5 hour flight from London to LA, this ex-New Yorker just wanted some good pizza. Quarter Sheets delivered. Their granny slices were crispy, the crust had the perfect tear, the tomato sauce was zingy in all the right ways, and the toppings were incentive. Bonus points to the princess cake, which I wish I didn’t share with my friends.

  Finally decided to bite the bullet and make a reservation to try this place out. Honestly I find it ridiculous to have to make reservations to eat pizza at a dingy corner spot in Echo Park but here we are. The location feels slapped together. It’s nothing to write about. Gives more of a pop up vibe than something lived in and authentic. You notice it with the random silverware and chairs. Food: Not bad. Very flavorful sauces. Though I’d would say the meatballs were barely holding together. They needed some firmness to them otherwise it tasted like a barely held together ball of ground meat. The meat itself was good but didn’t have much flavor. That or the sauce just overpowered it. We kept one meatball on the plate just so we could spoon the sauce on some of the slices. The “garlic bread” that comes with these are really just another slice of pizza with cheese which was delicious but also very salty. It’s gonna be a theme. People joke about the gluten and that’s normal, but the sodium intake should be the concern! Some of these slices just come off as way too salty. The cheese is great and I think bring the perfect amount of saltiness so it doesn’t require much from the rest of the ingredients other than balancing out the flavors. I love salt. But even I was like damn this is salty! The sauces are a bit more on the sweeter side but I personally like that. And because of this we used it to offset the salt from some of the slices. They ran out of their famous Princess Cake as I ordered it. But our waiter didn’t really seem to move with any purpose. Kinda felt like he was done for the night and wanted to rush us to order. But was clearly so friendly with the neighboring party. Would probably not dine in again but would order for pick up for sure. To be frank, I don’t like too much hassle to get my pizza. These slices are delicious so I’d much rather just order ahead and pick up to go.
