Masa fina y crujiente, y camareros estupendos. Solo hacen un número determinado de pizzas al día, así que llama antes para reservar masa. Puede que tengas que esperar mesa.

Unfortunately they double booked up with another group so we have to wait 45 minutes to be seated. Once we were seated the night went smooth. …

Never disappoints! One of the best pizzarias in Philly. No surprise: pizza is all they do, and they do it well. Thin, crispy crust. Awesome server. Their own free parking lot a half block away. Don't forget to call ahead and reserve your

I haven't been here in 20 years and it's as good as I remember! We called a few days ahead to reserve our dough, because they only make a certain number of pizzas a day. You can call at 10 am but they don't open until 4. You can't leave a

Poetry on a pie plate. They edit pizza down to the bare essentials and then execute perfectly. The slices never droop from excessive anything and they clearly use very high quality ingredients. The crowd roars! Bravo! Encore!

Tacconelli’s is one of those rare places that feels untouched by trends, hype, or the endless churn of modern food culture. It is deeply, unmistakably Philadelphia in the best possible way.

for my wife's birthday we thought we would try Tacconellis. It is the worst pizza and experience we've ever had. The pizza was burnt, and not very flavorful and the bill for one pizza was $29 without tip. So yes $36 for lousy pizza served on paper plates with plastic utensils and plastic cups for our very nice wine we brought with us. I don't understand all the rave reviews. We've been trying restaurants, delis, take out, food carts for 50 years in Philadelphia and this easily the worst food we have had with terrible service.Read more

Had been at Tacconelli's in Philly many years ago. Had the white pizza. Was excellent. Recently went to Maple Shade store. I ordered the white pizza. This was the WORST pizza ever. It looked and tasted of only dried out dough. No mozzarella, no garlic, no oil, nothing but dry dough. I could have made a better pizza. And I paid approx $15.00. I ate a couple of pieces and let my friend take it home. She threw it away. Read more

You have to reserve your dough in advance, so call ahead. The pizza is created much the same way it was in Naples 100 years ago. Crispy charred crust, tomatoey tomato sauce, mozzarella that gets gooey and melty and delicious. Whether you're a Philadelphian or from out of town seeing the sights, if you love pizza and want to try one of the best outside of Naples, go. The neighborhood is gritty, quintessential Phillydogtown, too. Read more

Went here tonight for the 1st time. We had a regular thin crust brick oven pizza with sausage, sweet peppers and mushrooms. It was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed it so much that we ordered another one to take home with us. Service was very friendly. Read more

It’s rare that I give a straight thru 5 star rating, but....Made a special trip out to this place and it was worth it! Thin crust pizza like no other I’ve had. Limit the toppings and enjoy the sweet tomato sauce on the regular pies and the tomatoes on the white pizza. BYOB and sides. Great history, great service. Just come eat this pizza! I know I will again.Read more
