  I celebrated my birthday at the Colvino and it was just great all round! The food was very delicious, there was also a great selection of drinks (very large Aperol Spritz), the service was attentive and warm. We had reserved a table on the upper floor and could celebrate in peace. We sat between the wine racks, which created a very special atmosphere – the location is really beautiful and totally cozy.   The food is really good in taste, but the portions are getting smaller as the prices rise. The price-performance ratio is no longer suitable for me. What was absolutely disturbing, however, is the handling of the guests. After 45 minutes they asked us if we wanted to have a drink – shortly afterwards it was clear that we should clear the table even though our drinks were not even empty. After an hour, the invoice was placed on the table without being asked, indicating that it would be reserved in 20 minutes. Ten minutes later, the card reader was simply placed on the table without comment – we should pay now. You get here clearly conveyed: Eat, drink, go. As soon as the last bite is taken, everything is cleared. Cosy sitting is obviously not desirable – even when other tables are available. If you want guests to stay a maximum of 1.5h, you should communicate this clearly in advance. Very disappointing.Read more
