Nice place, but the pizza did not meet expectations. I personally was curious to try one of the best items on the menu: the Iberian N'erano. While appreciating the quality of the ingredients, I found the dough chewy and the topping too heavy with cream and zucchini, while on the contrary, it was too sparse in terms of Iberian ham, which did not justify the price (24.5 euros). Considering the care for the environment and the search for quality ingredients, it would take very little to make a significant improvement. However, from a place that adheres to the philosophy of the "priest," one would expect much more, especially regarding the dough: probably the chefs in the kitchen have not yet adequately absorbed the artisanal process. Lightening the topping and giving more prominence to a precious ingredient like Jamón would much better justify the price positioning.Read more

Please wait, there is a wait. But there must be a reason for all this crowd on a Monday; I often pass by San Martino and I wondered what could be so special??? Just look at the photos, pizza, or rather, I should say pizzas that are truly outstanding. Truly high level.Read more

I do not question the quality of the pizza, which I found to be good. What I contest is the management of the service. There were two of us, seated at 9:00 PM. We ordered two Pepsis (they do not have Coca-Cola) and two pizzas, so a very simple order. The pizzas arrived at 10:45 PM, after a wait of one hour and forty-five minutes. The problem was not just our table. The entire room was in difficulty: several customers were complaining, and some tables had been waiting since 8:00 PM, including tables with small children. In the meantime, we saw pizzas arriving for people seated after us, without any apparent criteria in managing the orders. After more than an hour and a half, I asked how much longer it would be, and I was told they did not know. Only when I said that, without a response, I would leave, did someone take action to check the situation. The most serious issue, however, was the complete lack of attention towards the customers. For almost two hours, we remained without eating anything, in a room saturated with the smell of cooked food that had become quite bothersome. I pointed out that even a simple gesture of courtesy towards those who had been waiting for so long would have been appreciated (I mentioned the bread, for example), but I was told that they do not make bread, better not to comment. The only people who apologized were a few waitresses, who, however, had no decision-making power. No dining room manager, supervisor, or owner ever came to provide explanations, take responsibility for the situation, or simply apologize to the customers. When the pizzas finally arrived, we were told that a discount would be applied for the inconvenience. At the time of the bill, however, we were initially presented with the full bill, and we had to remind them of what had been promised to us. Only then were 4 euros deducted from the bill, a token gesture that I found frankly ridiculous compared to what had happened and, above all, was not accompanied by any apology from the management. In 2026, a delay can happen to any establishment. What I find unacceptable is leaving customers waiting for almost two hours without information, without attention, and without any responsible person coming to manage the problem. The quality of the food is important, but respect for the customer comes first. For this reason, I am sorry, but I will not return.Read more

Incredible quality; the doughs are amazing, and this has been the strong push from the beginning, but I don't remember ever having eaten a 30-month Culatello or a Stravecchio from Bruna Alpina, stuff from luxury establishments, in short. We will definitely see each other again. Great.Read more
