I had eaten a lot of Neapolitan pizzas before I finally reached the place where it was all invented. When I did, I wanted to make sure I tried the most authentic spots — and that’s how I ended up here. And wow, I had the best pizza of my life. We had to wait around 30 minutes after giving our names, while many others arrived and joined the queue. Those who got seated outside instantly became the center of attention for every hungry person waiting. We were lucky to be seated inside after our wait. I ordered the crowd favourite, the Pizza Carnival, while my partner tried a cheese-less vegetarian pizza. The Pizza Carnival was an experience — a true burst of flavours. To my surprise, I absolutely loved my first-ever pizza without cheese too! To top it all off, we were treated to a live performance by a lady singing and playing music. All in all, it was an unforgettable experience — easily the best pizza moment of my life. If you are in naples, ensure to set aside and hour and half of your life for this pizza of an experience.

Fantastic pizza and experience, the star-shaped pizza with ricotta-stuffed crust was unique and unforgettable. The dessert we had, cassata al forno, was also excellent, not overly sweet with a very interesting texture. I can’t speak for the normal pizzas, but they looked just as good coming out of the oven. The restaurant itself felt very homey and gave the sense that Pizzeria da Attilio has been a favorite of locals and tourists for generations. Highly recommended for a delicious Neapolitan pizza dinner.

Absolutely amazing pizza. I came here with my partner and we ordered three pizzas: the Margherita, the nine-flavor pizza, and the orange sauce pumpkin pizza. All were great. The pumpkin pizza was a little smoky for my taste, but still very good. The tiramisu was fantastic too. It was so good that we ended up coming back the next day for dinner. This time we tried the famous star-shaped ricotta pizza, a Caprese salad, and a bottle of Vesuvio Lacryma Christi DOC rosato. It was the best rosé I have ever had. They kept it perfectly chilled using a wine ice pack that I had never seen before, which was so much nicer than an ice bucket because there was no dripping water every time we poured another glass. The Caprese salad was excellent, and the mozzarella was incredibly fresh. Pizzeria Da Attilio is a must-visit in Naples for anyone who loves authentic pizza, great wine, and friendly service.

Sole nel cuore - Attilio is our FAVORITE pizzeria in Napoli 💝💛 We loved Da Attilio so much that we returned here again during our trip. This place is a celebration of Neapolitan pizza - we tried 6 or 7 different pizzas, including the fried pizza - every single one was delicious. Stood out in particular: Artichoke pizza DOC The special of the week - a pizza with beetroot, nuts and mandarins. The star was, unsurprisingly, the star-shaped pizza “sole nel piatto”. The ricotta in each tip of the star felt like heaven inside the mouth. For drinks, we had the white Fiano di Avellino which was excellent and complimented the food. As digestive we had a fresh limoncello. Service and atmosphere were great. 5/5 DO NOT MISS!

Please try the "Giardiniera"! My pizza had green olives, black olives, capers, cooked greens, arugula, zucchini, eggplant, mushrooms, pine nuts, yellow peppers, some type of sundried or cured tomato, other things I probably missed or misidentified, along with fiordilatte AND ricotta stuffed crust. Easily the most insanely delicious and complex pizza I've ever had. Thank you Chef Attilio and team! Also pictured: fried buffalo mozzarella with bread.

Without a doubt, it has now become a pizzeria for tourists; we waited more than an hour to be seated to eat horrible pesto pizza topped with very salty pesto, typical of cheap places, small bites filled with tasteless ricotta. A piece of advice: if you go, do not look towards the kitchen, which is left in view and resembles those nightmare kitchens, not to mention the small and very dirty restrooms. The only positive note is the staff, from the entrance to the waiters, who are very kind.Read more

This restaurant in the centre of Naples offers a wide range of pizzas at affordable prices. We went there twice and we always enjoyed it. The pizza dough is fine is crispy and the filling is generous. The service is fast, but unfortunately we found all the staff very unfriendly. The room is always crowded, try to book if you can. The wait is worth it, these are in my opinion the best pizzas in Naples.Read more

You know the place is good from the queue outside - seems to be a thing in Naples, if there's no queue, there's no point. Service is quick, extensive menu and most importantly, the food is incredible.Read more

20 years after our first Neapolitan visit, we returned to this cult and unmissable place. This pizzeria in place for several decades has not changed its good habits offering pizzas with inimitable taste. Sweet prices (pizzas between 7 and 12 euros, spritz at 6.50), a popular but delicious place with its oven at the entrance. Not to be missed if you pass through the Spanish Quarter.Read more

Food was good, as expected. Cosy and authentic look. Service not good at all. The starters never arrived, but they remembered to put it on the bill anyway 😆 Mixup with the wines too. And all the staff was obviously on the wrong side this evening, no smiles, seemed like nobody wanted to work there or with each other this particularly evening.Read more
