Food: I didn't like the Pizza 3 - Napoli at all. The Panuozzo - Roasted Chicken with Pesto was strictly average and the same goes for the Homemade Fresh Lemonade. Service: It seems that the servers have designated tables and they don't help each other even though their designated tables are all empty. Anyway, our server didn't know the name of the dish they were serving. They also don't serve ketchup (even when asked) and one small bottle of tobasco is shared amongst many tables. Atmosphere: This is the best thing about the place. It is well decorated and is definitely gram'worthy. Overall: The food maybe authentic, but it's surely not to my taste and hence I won't be revisiting or recommending this place. The overall experience wasn't worth the money.

We visited the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon and were pleasantly surprised to be seated right away. Saira, our host, was warm and attentive, offering excellent recommendations. The eggplant parmigiana made for a wonderful starter, and the pizzas were bursting with flavor. We ended on a sweet note with the pistachio gelato, which was equally delightful. While the prices are slightly on the higher side, the overall experience and quality of the sourdough pizzas make this restaurant well worth a visit.

My second time coming here, and boy, it sure won't be the last if I can't help it. The restaurant has an excellent decor. The chef's knead each sourdough base fresh in front of you and that freshness is very evident in the taste of the base and crust. I had the pesto and chicken based one last time and this time I had the pizza 8 with the Spanish pork in it. Both were absolutely amazing. The staff is also another highlight of the place, always friendly and smiling and suggesting good things. The campari based drinks are all great too, this time I had the negronis, and no regrets! Their craft beer was very fresh and excellent as well. On the whole i definitely recommend this place as a gem in Navi Mumbai and a must try italian fix for pizza affecionados and sourdough affecionados alike!

It was quite a late dinner — around 11:30 PM — when my wife, our 3-month-old daughter and I walked into Si Nonna’s – The Original Sourdough Pizza in Malad West. At that hour, you half-expect restaurants to be winding down, but we were seated immediately. What really touched me was that the team proactively offered us a bigger table, simply because we had a baby with us — even though we were just two adults. A small gesture, but a warm one. The ambience had a cozy charm. The lighting was soft, the music was gentle and soothing — present enough to create atmosphere, yet calm enough that you could speak comfortably without ever feeling drowned out. It’s the kind of space that feels casual, relaxed and unintimidating. The staff were polite and courteous. If I had one small suggestion, it would be to give guests just a bit more time with the menu before stepping in to take the order — sometimes people simply want a minute to settle in. And while some staff try to speak in English, I honestly feel there’s no need unless they’re fully comfortable — Hindi or Marathi works just as beautifully. But overall, everyone was kind and welcoming, and there was no waiting time at all. We ordered: • Fresh homemade lemonade x2 • Pizza 6 — Chicken & Pesto (12”) • Pizza 8 — Spanish pork salami & Pecorino (12”) • Bisleri still water (₹179 for ~750ml) The lemonade deserves a special mention — refreshing, bright and honestly the star of the meal for me. As for the pizzas — yes, they are genuinely authentic sourdough. On that front, Si Nonna’s absolutely delivers. For taste, I preferred Pizza 6 over Pizza 8. The Pizza 8 felt a bit milder in flavour, and I eventually added some chilli-garlic oil just to add a little moisture and punch. The pizzas here lean slightly toward the drier side, so if you enjoy saucier or more moist pizzas, that’s something to keep in mind — this is more about rustic sourdough than indulgent cheese-heavy slices. The crust itself was soft and wood-fired, and the pizzas were served piping hot — which I really appreciated. Portion-wise, a 12-inch pizza is well-sized, but if you eat well (like I do 😄), one pizza may not fully satisfy two people. My only genuine area of improvement would be topping quantity. For the price point, the toppings felt a little lighter than expected — especially when compared to how Indian diners generally perceive pizza value. It’s not about excess — just that slight balance between price and richness. That said, I still walked away feeling that Si Nonna’s is true to its sourdough identity, with a pleasant ambience, caring staff gestures and fresh, hot food. It may not suit everyone’s texture preference, but for those who appreciate classic sourdough-style pizza, it remains worth trying. ⭐ Anirban’s Review Framework Ambience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Warm, soothing and comfortable Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Polite team, thoughtful gesture with seating Food: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ Authentic sourdough — lighter toppings & slightly dry style Value: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ Good experience, slightly premium for topping quantity 💬 Final Thoughts: A cozy, authentic sourdough experience with lovely ambience and polite service. Some small refinements could make it even better. ✔ Would I return? Yes — especially for the lemonade 😊

This review is for the Pune location. Opened four months ago, I have eaten here twice in one week. The pizzas are superb with lots of flavor and the right amount of chew. Belgian dark chocolate gelato was heavenly but uber expensive. Service excellent. Highly recommended.
