  It is the extra thin, but crisp and robust bases, that make the pizzas so special at La Panchina. Delicious toppings to choose from among white and red styles. However, for me the jewel in the crown is the humble Napoletana with a scattering of the intense, briny elements and tangy tomato sauce being supported perfectly by the charred, crispy base. I have visited La Panchina a number of times now and will return.

  We had dinner here last night. It was not a good experience… Six of us crammed around a small table. It was cramped, noisy, and the pizzas were not that great. The menu is not user friendly, very small print and descriptions were not easy to understand. We couldn’t hear / understand what the waiter was saying over the noise. When we got the bill they charged us $16 (4 x $4) extra for additional toppings on 3 pizzas (?) which we didn’t not request. BYO corkage is $8.50 per person and their wine is expensive. They charge $70 for a bottle of shiraz which you can buy for $21 in a bottle shop. When we asked for the bill there was the hard sell to buy more stuff. We had to say no thanks 3 or 4 times and then we needed to ask for our bill 3 times.

  Me and my friends e order all 3 specials pizzas and the was so good, my favourite the special with porchetta. The Owner at the end give us a really tasty limoncello, finally a place like in Italy. Thanks for the dinner

  Without any doubts the best pizza in town. Waiters and owner very friendly and familiar atmosphere. Will come back for sure

  From the onset of our dining experience, the service was appalling. The manager or what seemed to be the host was arrogant and touchy( held my daughterd shoulders when she sat down and swayed her side to side abrutly), which is unacceptable. Bathrooms had alcohol bottles stored throughout - something I've never seen in a restaurant before. The host continued to make remarks and act rudely. Food is quite average for the rating.. Victoria special was light on seasoning.. unusual for a traditional Italian restaurant. Would not come back again due to the host's behaviour.
