  Booked in for our anniversary, service was great ! Food was delicious and we enjoyed our meal Special little touch added to our dessert which was lovely Would be great to see more diet drink / low sugar non alcoholic options - rather then the no sugar coke and mocktails that are so heavy on full sugar drinks Restaurant can be loud though

  My wife and I had dinner at Gigi's Restaurant Mudgee. The restaurant is part of The Clairfield Hotel, so it was only a very short walk from our room. The restaurant was full, but there was no intrusive noise. The staff were very attentive and helpful but at no time intrusive. Our dinner was very relaxed and enjoyable. I had the 'Braised Beef Cheeks with Caramelised carrot purée, wilted greens, hazelnuts & gremolata'. The bruised beef was so tender I was able to pull it apart, and the flavour was amazing. My wife had the Twice Cooked ½ Cooked Chicken with Pearl barley risotto, celeriac, pancetta & oregano. As usual, I had a taste of the chicken and it was really good, again amazing taste. The cost of the meal, considering the wonderful taste and the service, was, I believe, really god value. My wife and I enjoyed our meals at Gigi's Restaurant, and we are very happy to give it a score of 5 stars out of 5.

  Having had dinner last week, we were back again, based on our excellent experience the first time, and on this occasion for breakfast as a Mother's Day treat from our son.I had the Bubble and Squeak with a side of mushrooms and my husband, the Nduja Scramble with a side of bacon. All were cooked well, were delicious and well presented. Gigi's is definitely worth checking out for both breakfast and dinner.

  The food was so good and we went for the sharing option so we enjoyed every plate . recommended wine for each dish is noted on the menu and Lowe Chardonnay was a special at only $12 . Service was lovely and overall the venue met expectations and would recommend to friends and go again when next visiting Mudgee . Hit the Spot !
