[World's Best Margherita] Enjoy authentic pizza, including the "World's Best Margherita," which won the world championship in Naples. The portions are a little small, so you can eat one per person, or one less than the number of people. The appetizers and whitebait bruschetta were also delicious.

September 13, 2025 I celebrated my birthday with my college-aged daughter and ate at HIRO for the first time. My daughter wanted pizza, so we searched for a pizza place near Nishinomiya, perhaps in Amagasaki or Itami. We had several options, but ultimately decided on HIRO. I'm really glad we went. I don't know much about pizza restaurants in Watashi, but I saw online that they won a pizza competition in 2019, and I thought they must be a winning restaurant, so I chose HIRO's. There were three locations, and after researching, I found out that the owner of the Itami location was also there. So, even though it was a little farther away, we chose the Itami location over the nearby Muko-no-Sou location. And I'm truly glad I made that choice. The restaurant had a bright, Italian atmosphere, using brightly colored tableware. The staff, who seemed to be college students, were young but well-trained, and the owner was thoughtful and attentive. I felt this when the pizza was served!! Since I went with my daughter, we both ordered pizza lunches, so I wondered if the pizza would come out at the same time, but it came out a little after I finished one pizza. They timed it to our liking and brought the pizza piping hot. You can really see the restaurant's consideration. The appetizer I ordered was also delicious (I'll post a photo), and I was happy to have it. After the meal, the staff even recommended desserts, showing their thoughtfulness. I was calm when I left the restaurant, but I was also happy that the owner greeted me at the door. I was touched to have had a birthday celebration meal at a restaurant run by such a wonderful owner who believes that food doesn't just fill your stomach, but also fills your heart. I hope this review is helpful to anyone who reads it.
