This is THE restaurant our family and friends are coming back all the time. One of our favourite in Lausanne. Tasty, fast, friendly, beautiful place. You can watch how they are baking your pizza in real oven with woods and fire. Also there’s cinema for kids. Love it!

Best napoletan pizza in Lausanne. The pizzaiolos & staff are Italian. Richly topped. Suppli are a must as antipasti. Polpette in tomato sauce just like at the nonna's. The strawberry tiramisù is a masterpiece. Large cellar of excellent Italian wines A warm welcome and a top atmosphere in a richly decorated former legendary cinema. An evening in Italy 🇮🇹 🍕 🤌 will come back next week. Alex

Luigia: Beautiful Setting and Excellent Pasta, But Service Falls Short We visited Luigia for Sunday dinner, and the first impression was truly memorable. The restaurant boasts a stunning decor that blends Italian elegance with the charm of an old theatre, creating a warm and romantic atmosphere that feels both inviting and special. We started the evening with an aperitivo, and were pleasantly surprised by the non-alcoholic spritz—just as refreshing and satisfying as the real thing. For our main courses, we had seafood risotto and tagliolini ai gamberi rossi, both of which were absolutely outstanding. Each bite transported us straight to Sicily, with fresh, sweet seafood flavors and a perfectly balanced, harmonious blend of ingredients. The pizza was decent—well-made with good dough and toppings—but didn’t quite reach the same heights as the pasta dishes. Desserts were unfortunately a letdown. The pistachio tiramisu and their signature profiteroles were overly sweet and lacked the balance and finesse expected from a restaurant of this caliber. The biggest disappointment of the evening was the service. There appeared to be a lack of coordination among the staff, and we felt the experience was missing the warmth and hospitality that’s so characteristic of Italian dining. Overall, Luigia offers a beautiful venue and exceptional pasta dishes, but there’s definitely room for improvement when it comes to service and dessert execution. We’d return for the food—but with more tempered expectations.

We love the atmosphere here but I find the food a bit salty for us.

We visited the pizzeria three times during our trip to Lausanne. Great pizza, tasty sides, and very polite staff. The bonus is that there is a space for kids to play and watch a short movie. Our children absolutely loved it, and we were able to enjoy our meal peacefully with our friends.
