This is a very homely b + b Fabio and Maria are very nice people. We would recommend The breakfast was light and delicious . There are 84 steps to get to your room but we found it doable and it was good exercise for the day . Fabio was great it getting our cases up so it was all ok .

We loved our stay at this bed and breakfast. Mr Fabio and Ms Giovanna were amazing hosts for our group of 6. Very accommodating and friendly, went out of their way to help us and provide all the information about the city that we needed. Situated at the top floor of a historical building, this b&b gives you the chance to experience living in the old city centre of the city. So you need to keep an open mind - you will climb some steep stairs, you will hear noises at night, you will hear the planes taking over from the nearby airport. If you are ok with all this, come and enjoy your stay. A lovely breakfast is also included in the price, and the hosts help you prepare coffee or other drinks.

I can’t say I enjoyed the city, or the historical part where the hotel is located, but the place was nice and the person working there was so welcoming and hospitable, so I forgot about any inconveniences in the city.

At the heart of Napoli old city delightfully decorated accommodation with a father figure host Fabio who is extremely attentive to his guest and does not mind answering million questions with details, maps, recommendations backed up with history and tradition. Very comfortable beds and efficient a/c unit. Unfortunately the facility is on top floor of and very old building (newly and beautifully furnished) where there is no lift so it is not for faint hearted 😂 definitely helps out the great breakfast and most delicious coffee in the morning (we are on our second week of our holiday in south Italy but my wife is still dreaming of that coffee 🤣) very famous pizza places are stone throwing distance. Only issues we had was the lack of parking facilities nearby (closest is approx 350m with a daily price 35-50 € and a 700m away quick parking (recommended) 25€/day.

What a fabulous gem in the historic heart of Napoli. We were treated to such kind and attentive hospitality by Fabio. From the very prompt and efficient communication prior to our stay, our very warm welcome, through to a very helpful send off, we felt very lucky to have stayed here. Being a historical area, the buildings are Originals and as such, no lifts in this building. We were aware of this beforehand and prepared to lug our bags up the 3 floors. But Fabio insisted to help us and would put an Olympic athlete to shame carrying 2 heavy suitcases down solo! The room was exactly as described and comfortable, spacious and well maintained. Fabio was a wealth of knowledge about the area, had excellent local tips and advice. He has impeccable English and is a pleasure to converse with. He was very gracious with his time in chatting with us and answering our questions. Plus he was very diligent with ensuring we got safely into the taxi he called upon our departure. The breakfast provuded was delightful and thoughtful. Fabio makes a great coffee and the food options included something for everyone. We wished we could stay longer but know we will be back here again the next time we travel to Napoli. Grazie mille to Fabio for a wonderful stay - you are truly the definition of molto gentile.

On the edge of what looks like a really run down little square in the historic district of Naples is a huge double door with a wicket gate on one side. After climbing 84 steps, we arrived ‘under the stars’ at Sotto le stelle. Our host came …

First up, the staff and room were amazing! We were greeted by Fabio in the courtyard and he carried our 50 pound suit case up 5 flights of stairs (84 steps), simply amazing, there was no way I could have accomplished that feat no matter how …
