  While Via Toledo in the center of Vienna boasts a beautiful location and a legendary dough, our dining experience was deeply compromised by unprofessional service and heavy pizzas. I am giving this review 3 stars solely out of respect for the excellent quality of the dough, but unfortunately, we will likely not be returning. For a restaurant of this caliber, we expected a completely different level of hospitality. Here is how our evening went: 1. Rushed and Rude Welcome: Right from the start, the waitress who greeted us was incredibly rushed and visibly annoyed. She kept pressuring us to take our order before we even had a chance to look at the menu properly. 2. Shocking Intrusion: It got to the point where she unpleasantly questioned our food choices. When we tried to order a specific pizza, she openly discouraged it, bluntly stating that a Margherita would be a better choice. We were honestly shocked by this lack of professionalism. 2. Wine Mix-up & Defensiveness: We ordered two glasses of Aglianico (clearly listed under red wines on the menu), but a different waiter brought us white wine instead. When we pointed it out, he defensively insisted that this was what we had ordered, showing a clear ignorance about their own wine list. After a brief discussion, they finally brought the correct red Aglianico. 3. Burnt Pizza Served Anyway: One of our three pizzas arrived heavily burnt—not just on the bottom, but visibly charred on the crust. The same waitress deemed it acceptable to serve. When we immediately pointed it out, she went to argue with another waiter, who then came to our table to ask what happened. Ultimately, the pizza was replaced with a decent one, but the attitude was exhausting. 4. The Food: The dough is status-defining and undoubtedly excellent. However, for my personal taste, the pizzas were excessively overloaded with fiordilatte, making them very heavy. This might be a choice to cater to local Austrian tastes, but it took away from the balance of the dish. Conclusion: When a "special" pizza costs €25, you expect flawless execution and hospitality. Unfortunately, the rushed, rude, and superficial service, combined with the overly heavy toppings, ruined the poetry of what could be an amazing meal. The dough is the only thing that saves this from a lower rating, but the overall experience means we won't be back.

  Magic. Do the tasting / pairing menu, very much worth it. One of the best pizza experiences ever. Pizza is the main event, but service and knowledge also world class. BRAVO 💥🕺💫🙌
