We ordered two courses: some starters and pizzas for the main. The starters were mediocre. We had the croquettes and something that resembled deep-fried pasta. The Beato and the Santina. The Beato (croquettes) was alright. Nothing special, just plain and simple. The Santina, which is deep-fried pasta, however, was quite horrible. It didn’t taste good and made for a terrible starter. It was very heavy on the stomach, mostly just a greasy, deep-fried lump of pasta. Wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. We also ordered two pizzas. One was fine, but the other was extremely chewy. By the time we got to the second slice, the pizza had cooled down almost completely, thanks to how long it took to chew each bite. It took me almost an hour to get through the pizza. Definitely the worst pizza I’ve had in Milan. When we asked for the bill, there was a coperto added, which isn’t unusual, and we were fine with that. However, given that the food was mediocre and the service nothing to write home about, we decided not to tip. This made the server visibly upset. He hinted three times that we should tip, and when we didn’t, he slammed the bill down on the table without a word. After that, he completely ignored us, not even greeting us or making eye contact. It was a very strange reaction, especially considering they didn’t do anything to make our evening special or serve us anything impressive. Wouldn’t recommend this place. Mainly because of the service.

Excellent Italian pizza! Great, kind and attentive service, easy reachable location with bus, tram and by walk from duomo (35 Min). Pizzas were great, very tasty, on point and fresh! Thumbs up and five starts ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

An unexpectedly good tiny pizza place not far from the city center. Although interior and exterior might not look convincing, Santa Margherita turned out to be a place with incredibly delicious pizza napoletana. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. The kitchen is open so you can see the process of pizza making while waiting for your order (which is actually quite fast). On the menu, there is quite a big choice of pizzas, all of them are quite interesting in terms of ingredients. We had one with zucchini and another one with Gorgonzola, speck, and walnuts - very different from each other, but really delicious. When in Milan, you should definitely try pizza at Santa Margherita. And don’t forget to book a table!
