  We visited L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele – 8 Club Street after reading so many glowing reviews, so our expectations were honestly very high. Unfortunately, the experience was a real disappointment. We ordered two pizzas. The first one was already below expectations — the crust lacked character and the overall flavour was rather flat. The second pizza was even worse. The texture and taste were simply not enjoyable, to the point that we only ate about 50% and left the rest behind. It’s rare for us to leave pizza unfinished, but this was genuinely not worth finishing. Considering the reputation of this brand, we expected authentic, outstanding Neapolitan pizza. Instead, it felt average at best. In fact, we have had many pizzas in Ho Chi Minh City that taste significantly better in terms of crust quality, balance of toppings, and overall execution. The ambience is pleasant and the location on Club Street is nice, but good atmosphere alone cannot compensate for disappointing food. Based on this visit, we do not feel it lives up to the hype.

  I celebrated my friend’s birthday at this restaurant. It’s an Italian place specializing in pizza. Even though it was a weekday, the restaurant was very crowded and lively. I was impressed by how fast and attentive the staff were despite how busy it was. Because of the crowd, it did take a while for our first drinks to arrive, but it was understandable. The pizza had a thin crust, was very easy to eat, and absolutely delicious. It was satisfying and filling as well. However, my absolute favorite here is the tiramisu. I usually don’t eat many sweets, but their tiramisu is so soft and light that it feels like you could drink it. It’s not overly sweet, and I could eat it endlessly. I really want many people to try it. I will definitely come back again. Thank you 😊

  We had a wonderful dining experience thanks to Paola. They were warm, friendly, and incredibly hospitable from the moment we arrived, making us feel truly welcomed and well taken care of throughout the meal. The team was attentive without being intrusive, and they went the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect for us. The food was also fantastic—delicious, beautifully presented, and served promptly. Truly great service paired with great food. Highly recommended!

  After seeing how big the pizzas were, we ordered one classic Margherita (with extra fior di latte), the Orecchiette alla Pugliese, a garden salad and the Fritto di Terra to share. The pizza was enjoyable while hot, but once it sat for a bit, it turned quite jelak—the tomato base was thin and the cheese became clumpy and chewy. The pasta wasn’t for us, as the sausage had a strong star anise profile, which isn’t really our thing. The fried platter was the highlight. The chicken pops and potato croquettes were very good—we liked the croquettes so much we ordered another round (glad they let us order just those, otherwise it’d be too much food). Finished with the tiramisu—nicely presented, decent, and generously sized, enough to share between two.

  If you’re craving truly authentic Italian pizza, this place absolutely delivers. The crust is spot on — soft and airy with those beautiful slightly puffy edges. The ingredients are simple but high quality, and every bite tastes fresh, balanced, and genuinely Italian. It’s the kind of pizza that makes you pause and go, “Okay… this is the real deal.” The atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and welcoming — no unnecessary fuss, just a great spot to unwind and enjoy good food. And a lovely little bonus: if you’re lucky, you’ll be served by Paola, a very sweet and friendly waitress whose smile and attentiveness make the whole experience even nicer 😊 Overall: amazing pizza, great vibe, lovely service. Definitely a place you’ll want to come back to.

  The food is excellent, friendly staff and the location is pretty convenient but then again, Singapore is a small city so easy to get anywhere! The food was authentically italian tasting and well presented. Definitely going there again

  The pizza did not disappoint. Vincent recommended the most amazing pizza and was an absolute legend. He made our dining experience on our first night in Singapore really special. Thank you!

  I’ll never eat food from here again! Pizza was terrible. It’s just a sloppy mess with chunks of hot dog on it instead of quality salami. Caesar salad used chopped up pizza base instead of croutons. Lasagna is like a frozen supermarket type. It’s all disgusting.
