Pizza Lovers say: "Amazing traditional and creative pizzas like the Diavola, high quality wine, and outstanding food. Some find it pricey with impersonal service."

This place seems somewhat underrated as the pizza here is amazing. I like they have both the traditional and more creative options and e.g. their Diavola, which combines mild spiciness with sweetish flavours, is really interesting. I also appreciate they have high quality wine available by glass, since many other places only have very low quality by glass and anything else only by bottle. The service is like you would expect from a big place like this, somewhat impersonal but very polite. The interior feels cold and uninviting, but if the weather allows, you can also sit outside or on the rooftop. Oh, and they do online reservations, which is still not the norm here - greatly appreciated that as well.

This place opens at 730pm. Upon arriving at 7pm, strangely, they wouldn’t allow us to enter the restaurant until the clock strikes 730pm :p When we were seated, the service and food was promptly served. We had the diavola, angioletti rocket appetizer & walnut pear salad.

Come to Naples once a year and try different pizza places of the 4 I went to this trip this was my least favorite. Pizza was not very good They were very heavy topped for Neapolitan pizza. I think pricing is high service was not the best and they charge a cover charge which I am fine with and normal plus an automatic service charge on top of that and service was not very good

This was such a lovely restaurant, on a beautiful square but not too touristy. The food was outstanding and my dad declared it the best pizza he’d ever had, we came here twice. Highly recommend and will be back next year.

Friendly service and a great location. Atmospheric roof terrace in the heart of Naples. The pizza however was average and overall pretty bland. Surprised it has a Michelin recommendation. Prices pretty high for Naples.

I don't even know where to start. Exceptional from start to finish. If you're in Naples, you NEED to visit Palazzo Petrucci Pizzeria. We booked to make sure, and although it wasn't busy when we arrived at 7.30pm on a Wednesday evening, it filled up rapidly from 8pm. We were seated quickly and then the waiter talked us through the menu and the specials, which he patiently repeated 3 times for us to make sure we understood. He was a star throughout and a credit to the restaurant. We started with a bottle of white wine from the local vineyards on Vesuvius, in preparation for our wine tasting there the next day. Wonderful product which complimented our food excellently. We went with the special starter; deep fried zucchini flowers which, somehow, the chef had managed to coat in a carbonara-type sauce before frying. The picture doesn't do them justice, they were insanely flavoursome and the delicate zucchini flowers somehow didn't get lost in the powerful ingredients surrounding them. We also had a couple of Arancino because you kind of have to. They were excellent. Then came the pizzas. Oh my word the pizzas! We devoured them to the last bite, to the point the waiter thanked us because "this is why we do it". Think he was sick of people leaving their crusts! We had a Diavolo - their take on the classic which was interesting and delicious. The inclusion of orange zest was a revelation as it cut through everything while providing balance to the fiery meat. The other pizza I can't remember the name of, which is infuriating me. It was shavings of pork, basil and yellow tomatoes. In contract to the Diavolo, which was a flavour explosion, this was the epitome of the basics done well. Incredible ingredients treated with respect and speaking for themselves. 2 tiramisus and a couple of limoncellos to finish, and this was up there with the best food we ate in Italy across both Rome and Naples. If we go back we'll also be visiting the sister restaurant of the same name. Thoroughly deserving of it's Michelin recommendation, and the prices were unbelievable. The equivalent of £10-£14 for a pizza of that quality is, frankly, a bargain!
