I am Italian and this pizza goes in my top 3 pizzas ever. The topping were perfect, the dough fluffy. The restaurant has many Italian decoration and makes me feel at home. All the workers here put the heart in what they do and you can taste it. BRAVISSIMI

Decent Italian food, but somehow ended up being one of the most expensive meals during my trip. I enjoyed the generous helping of white truffle on the pasta, but the pasta itself was overcooked and a bit too soft. The appetiser platter and pork pizza were fine. Thankfully the vibes were nice and the staff were very pleasant.

The owner is also the main chef of the restaurant. He has had a 4 year training in a pizzeria in Napoli. Pizza dough was certainly of Italian quality! He has recreated a stone wood oven that is similar to Da Michele pizzeria in Napoli. Aside from the ingredients, the total food quality was one of surprise. I didn't expect to have such a decent pizza in Gifu city. In the end, the owner was the one who brought the receipt and personally thanked for visiting their restaurant.

My wife and I just had a fabulous dinner at da Achiu, and I can recommend that all travelers try to pay this small pizzeria a visit! The vegetable salad we enjoyed is chock full of raw and partially roasted vegetables, and is served with Olive oil and a very good balsamic. Superb! We then shared a tomato and basil pizza which was one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten, no matter the country! These guys use only the best ingredients available, and the pizza chef is a master at controlling the rate of cooking of each pizza he makes (to order). I heartily recommend Da Achiu!
