  Plates are so small that they are not really shareable with a group. For example, a plate of asparagus has 3 spears. Pizzas are the size of a small tea saucer. Music is loud. Nevertheless there was a fair crowd. It seems Parisians like the place. It isn't what I'd call dinner. It is experimental concoctions of foods in tiny tiny portions.

  One of my absolute favorite places to go in Paris when you are looking for great neighborhood cuisine and a local vibe. I always make it a point to stop in every time I find myself in the city.

  This little restaurant was a bright spot in the middle of our day. We ate at the bar because all the tables were full but that made the experience even better. We could watch the action in the kitchen, at the bar, and all around us. The food was 5 star and all very different and unique. The menu was limited but wide enough that you can find a good choice and have yourself the wonderful 3 course lunch and price was exceptional for Paris. I recommend this Cafe du Coin for great food and great experience.
