Yesterday I had dinner with some friends and we were really surprised by the food. The dishes were very different for the area. The tuna tartare was incredible, 100% recommended. We'll be back because we're eager to try more dishes. The service was excellent and the place is really cool. A top-notch gastro bar in Asturias, definitely worth repeating. 💯

As a fellow professional, I always feel bad having to write these kinds of reviews, but I'm doing so politely in the hopes of helping things improve. We went for a Thursday set menu (market day). The bar was practically empty, which surprised us since it's right next to the market. They didn't even bring us the starter (we didn't ask for it either). I ordered seafood rice as a first course, but the rice was overcooked and tasteless; it didn't taste like anything (almost the entire plate went back to the kitchen). My companions ordered fabada (Asturian bean stew). They served it in a pot for the two of us, but there was only enough compango (meat accompaniment) for one person. We mentioned this to the waitress, and she gave a firm "no," even though there wasn't enough compango for two. For the second course, we had fish balls. The potatoes were cold and soggy, as if they'd been fried for at least 20 minutes. I politely asked her to heat them up, and she did so without hesitation, but it was still clear they'd been cooked for a while and weren't good. In short, another almost entire plate went back to the kitchen. The desserts—mine specifically was fine, but another person's was sent back to the kitchen completely untouched. What surprised us most was that at no point did they bother to ask how everything was or if there were any problems, since half the plates came back practically untouched. There were errors on the part of the kitchen in serving cold, spoiled, and unappetizing food, and a failure on the part of the service for not bothering to ask why the plates were being returned so full. It's also worth noting that after mentioning the problem with the "compango" (a type of sausage), it became incredibly uncomfortable to see the service giving us dirty looks for bringing it up. I hope this was an isolated incident and that they take it as constructive criticism to improve.

The service: unprofessional. The food: a completely bland and overcooked seafood rice dish. The hake meatballs in green sauce were inedible, and the dessert, supposedly a strawberry mousse, was also bad. To be honest, we were already suspicious that there were no other customers at lunchtime. A place I won't return to, much less recommend.

An incredible place in Laviana, with two terraces (one inside) and a very cozy atmosphere. I would highlight the decor and, without a doubt, the cuisine. Homemade food, combining traditional ingredients with modern preparations. We will definitely return, highly recommended!
