Pizza near Brandenburg Gate

Brandenburg Gate was built from 1788 to 1791 for Frederick William II, with Johann Gottfried Schadow's Quadriga added in 1793. The gate later stood beside the Berlin Wall exclusion zone and became a symbol of reunification after 1989. It is outdoors and free, so most visits take 15 to 30 minutes unless demonstrations, state events, or New Year barriers change access.

The useful pizza direction is east from Pariser Platz along Unter den Linden and into Mitte. Walk west and you enter Tiergarten, where the trees are the point and the food grid thins out. Southeast toward Potsdamer Platz adds another commercial cluster, but it is a longer choice rather than the nearest meal.

Mama Trattoria is closest to the gate in the current list. Pizzeria Marienkafer sits farther into Mitte, while Magic John's Pizza offers a slice-led alternative. For a full Neapolitan meal, check the current menu and service format rather than assuming every Italian restaurant specializes in pizza.
